Hi, I need an important information about kemei 1990 oil lubtification. When I remove screws I just have to put some oil there on the small groove on the metal blade, or there should be like a fiber piece that have to be filled with oil(not sold with the item) ? Because my problem is that the oil indicator let always shows its finished, also while I just added it. Thank you so much for your help!
hi im looking forward to buy these clippers as my first bc i want to practice and i dont want to spend for my first 170euros for a really good one should i buy them and when you say ceramic blade do you mean the blade from the insinde that actually cuts the hair or the one outside?
No and you can't zero gap the original blades .... you could swap the original blades out with an other trimmers blades that can be zero gabbed like the wahl detailer blades
Did you change the blade or keep the original. I have attempted a zero gap and the cutting blade jumped right out once I took of the top comb. Is that normal? Is that how it's meant to be?
Firstly the km809a are a lot better so I recommend getting them. Also if you replace blade correctly oiling the inside aswell as the blade then you will continue to get a nice clean sound 👍
MY PHONES ide say Kemei 809a personally, people won’t agree with me but I’ve tested nearly all Kemei products and this for me lasted the longest. But bare in mind the motor isnt that powerful
Daniel Rugay you should buy new clippers. You can only get them from Greece as the spring are manufactured there. Will cost £20 all in for a tiny spring!! I know it’s ridiculous!
Ben Boud what do you mean by ceramic blade, I’m looking to buy these clippers but reviews say the original blade isn’t very good. Is they any cheap good replacements rather than paying extra for the whal blades?
Jaytality the Kemei blade in general through out all clippers are quite bad. I would suggest getting a ceramic blade, have a look on eBay, they go for as little at £8 free postage from uk
