Awesome car. When you say the AC doesn’t work, do you mean the compressor is not engaging when you charge it or that it was charge but leaks out in a short period of time? Regarding the radio; does it turn on? If not have you checked the fuse?
@@calvinhaynes5781 The AC system has a leak, I actually filled it up the other day because I wanna see how fast it leaks out and hopefully find the leak but for now the AC actually works. As for the radio, the radio turns but nearly none of the buttons work and the cd player, cd changer, and tape player are all broken.
@@Jackw920 ok…the Sony XAV-AX3200 is an excellent choice. I bought one for my 2000 Nissan Maxima. Very easy to install and fills the space well. The radio system in my car is the same as yours. It’s a Bose so just make sure you order the right wire harness because sound runs through the amplifier. I also have a leak…I’m going to get my condenser replaced. After charging, it all leaked out in a day.
@@calvinhaynes5781 yeah I have a radio that I tried to put in but the amp would not cooperate with either of the wiring kits I got for the car so I gave up
Sony XAV-AX4000 is worth it, wireless CarPlay and reverse camera compatible. If you can find a uv dye for the A/C I’d try finding so you can find the leak with a uv light
I got my CR-Z about a month ago. I live in Europe but got the american model because I really wanted the automatic transmission and could not find it anywhere for sale in Europe. I have double your frustration, not only did I miss out on all the features you mentioned but I also can’t find any parts for it as I found out that most parts do not ship to Europe and the ones we have here are not compatible with this version 🙈 I kind of shot myself in the foot with this one but at least I got what I wanted, an automatic CR-Z which I very much enjoy driving 🥲
The mpg in the CR-Z depends on how you drive it. My overall average would be 43 mpg (69.2 kpm though I may be wrong with the conversion) with a manual transmission. I find it gets even better mileage in the summer like mid to late 40s. I have gotten 50+ mpg, but it is extremely difficult and it requires special conditions. But at the end of the day it depends on how you use it and your overall driving habits.
The 2011-2012’s had 122HP with a Nickel Metal Hydride battery The 2013-2016’s had 133HP with a Lithium Ion battery Honda also developed their own Supercharger only compatible with the manual transmission, push the total power output to nearly 200HP 🤓
The led headlight you’re talking about is from the limited/special edition called “Final Label” it’s on the last batch of 2016 Honda CRZ and only a few hundred or under a 1000 were produced. It cost an arm & leg. You need the special adapters to run it. Forgot to mention, I have a 2015 Honda CRZ EX CVT. I owned mines since 2019. It was the only CRZ for sale in my area and it happened to be down the street from my house. I wish I had a manual version.
@@lonestar02173 it provides a little bit better acceleration for five seconds when you press it, you have to make sure the s+ light is on to use it though
I've owned mine 7 years. They are amazing cars. Dead reliable, fun feeling, just kinda slow but have lots of torque like a diesel truck. Mines slightly modded and it's sorta quick but it's definitely still really slow. These cars are amazing though they handle like a roller coaster. And I've driven lots of cars too. Buy 1 if you can.
They didn’t come with the spare in America. The ex is the same as the gt overseas. The zf2 engine is from 2013-16 and overseas they would rather have the back bens we got here because the back seats are useless and sunroofs leak so
You have a S+ button. I thought that was only in the second gen CRZ ? The 1st gen were nickel hydride battery, and were smaller so had space for a spare wheel. The 2nd gen had lithium batteries and their size didn't leave room for a spare tire. I have a !st gen CR Z ZF MY12 Luxury model here in Australia.
I have a Honda 2012 CRZ I bought it a year ago I love it!!!!!!!!! The only problem is the drivers side door handle just got my new one in the mail from Georgia ❤️❤️❤️
Although I appreciate anything free bro go to harbor freight and get a cheap but good 3 ton jack. I’ve had my own for 6-7 years now and still going strong.
CR-Z owner here (2015 6MT in Milano Red). Had mine for 5 1/2 years now. Quite reliable and no regrets. Did have to replace the motion control monitor and a broken door handle (Treat them with TLC. I can't stress that enough!). But it is still fantastic! Also I wish I had the LCD screen and the wing!
So the one thing I know you didn't mention which I know that making a video probably is a different thing but the different Drive modes sports mode normal mode and economy mode sports mode is a different experience
So I currently own a 2014 EX CR-Z great Carr I love it it's an automatic but recently emissions lights started coming on they don't have any work manuals on this car the ones I've seen are in the UK and say pounds LOL but currently looking for a PCV valve location I had a spoiler put on my car and I had it painted the same color as my car gunmetal gray
Did yours come with the spoiler or did you get it afterwards? also.. Video cuts off as you're talking about the lack of spare tyre, mine came with one (in South Africa)
@@Jackw920 Did you get your Spoiler from a dealer or somewhere online? I can only get them from the dealer locally for like $670 which feels really expensive
If you install a level 2 at home, you get a $1,000 tax credit and charge time is 10 hours. Do it after 6PM and on weekends and its freaking cheap to charge up.
I have an Audi e=tron Prestige Edition One Series. Only 900 made in entire world. I will keep it forever. I just bouight an Audi A6 for the longer trips. Audi rocks!
