Of course a super informative video with great contents but above all the prettiest Hallstatt video I came across so far! Felt like I watched a movie ♥️ Will be there in 2 weeks.
Recommendations: Research the venue before purchasing Buy zone A (front row seating) Arrive early to get the best spot (its not assigned seating, first come, first serve.) I had the exact opposite experience. Front row, awesome view, tons of candles. And the seating was 360 degrees around the performers, unlike this venue. Give it a try again following the above, I thought it was 100% worth the $.
The issue is, almost every big location in europe with proper view and acoustics (slope towards stage), have very high and strict security standards. Especially when it comes to fire protection. You can't even have decoration with the slightest chance of beeing a fire hazard. Yet alone having hundreds of burning candles placed all around. Makes sense in many cases, but it's still a shame that this takes the magic of such events like this.
Hello, I am planning to visit Austria next month(February). I am looking forward to visit Lünersee since I was amazed by the views and nature of it. However, I realized that the cable car doesn't work during the season. And I want to know if it's even possible to visit duting winter because I know it's not the best season for it. I really want to climb up to Schafgafall but I want to make sure that it's possible and safe. Any ideas?
I totally understand why the fact that you literary can’t see anything of the candles or the artists from most of the seats makes the tickets overpriced. It’s not about the artists and not about the music, but about what you get for your money. And tbh there are lots of cheaper ways to experience classical music in much better ways, where youre actually able to see things.
I will go With my wife 27 th January 2024 in hallstatt. I Want to visit these 5 places.Would you please share with me how I can go from one place to another Place. Does it need to rent texi for visiting salt mine, skywalk, five fingers, & any other places. I have a budget limit that's why I ask you.Easiest way how can i cover it. Please replay me.
I just attended one of these concerts and cannot believe you felt the experience is overpriced. The amount of talent easily exceeds the price and the staff who coordinate and run the programs are so kind and hard working. Wow.
The reasoning from the creator is very clear. I wouldn't pay 30 euro for a candlelight concert with the candlelight being barely visible. For a little bit more you can see way more than 4 artists as well.
Can you put price on art, hard work and dedication ? We live in an unusual era , where we pay 300£ to wach a football game live . I guess 50£ for a live unique classic music concert is just a pretext .
Supporting local artists aren’t for the snob. You have to have that love for your city to know how to truly support AND enjoy its existence. They are the heart of the city!❣️❣️❣️
Hearing live classical music for that price is certainly not overpriced. Lack of visibility is definitely a con, but that’s literally the price of two cocktails to witness professional artists. I don’t think the youth nor influencers respect or understand the hard work and dedication it takes to be an artist. They just film on a camera and expect instant gratification for pennies.
Hallstatt is home to 750 people, while it receives an estimated 1 million visitors every year so you can imagine what that means. The whole city of Hallstatt is an artificially inflated advertising bubble (thanks to the quite questionable UNESCO program "World Cultural Heritage"). It is overcrowded by foreign tourists (by and and large non-European ones), mostly just one-day visitors, who are brought there by large buses and taken away the same evening. As a result, the prices in the city are really inflated and quality of offered services is considerably below the Austrian standards (ranging from the low quality of food to the generally overpriced meals, accommodations, unfriendly parking policy. etc.) It is absolutely clear that we will not be ever returning to this location and would not recommend it to any of our friends. Incredibly overhyped place that's essentially just one street. Food is awful if you manage to get some, drones flying overhead during tourist season which is when anyone would go there, otherwise everything is bleak,. Good only for a quick day-trip!
The thing is that, they already have their targeted audience. They know whom they are targeting. Such events are not for everyone. In business, every business has its target audience. You just have to ask yourself before going to everything you see online, I'm one of their targeted audience or not.
Thank you for sharing this video. It actually looks beautiful, inviting & enchanting. Love what these musicians are doing. You don’t look dressed for the occasion at all.
No, it's not. The experience they were selling did not meet expectations for the amount of money the OP spent. For her, it was an overpriced event, and just because you don't agree doesn't make it any less valid for her
Yep! Seating can be an issue even if you turn up on time. The general public are not as courteous as they may have once been. These venues should allocate seating or get stewards in to assist with seating to prevent the evening bring ruined before you’ve even sat down🫤
It IS overpriced! I’m a ballet dancer and y’all have to chill because it seems that this thing was poorly held in her area… Where I live tho it is TOTALLY worth it! You can clearly see the musicians surrounded by the candle lights (which is one of the major attractions) from most spots (not the case in this video)!
