Yes! A teacher should look good for their students. I always did. Besides that, what we wear to work speak volumes about how we feel about our jobs. Even if the work wear is a uniform, it should be worn with pride as well.
I love following your channel because you remind me of a teacher I had in school. She presented herself the same way and cared for her students the same way and she is appreciated and remembered to this day many many years after I’ve graduated school. Keep doing what you do!
You're teaching them what self love and self care looks like. They really need to see that people care enough about them to show up for them, beautifully both inside and out.

As you should, I had a Teacher in High school she well dressed Every Day, not a wrinkle in sight all school year she was Black and one in Elementary make hair and on point every day as well , She was White and Wealthy by our community standards , I remember these ladies and Smart and Classy, keep setting the example they see you more than they see their Parents in most cases. You are teaching them The Girls and the Boys that you can look Good and not have to expose yourself. , the #Demure and Mindful Definitely fits

That person needs to travel to Africa. Even in village school, teachers dress well. I used to have a math teacher who used to wear a suit and tie to class. You're joking. Teachers play a big role in how they present themselves.
Or maybe you’re showing professionalism and class. People are so miserable. How is showing up as your best/highest self something to shame someone for?

When you show up, looking presentable, looking like you put effort not only into yourself but into your career, the students see that. Thats fuels them to realize that they too need to put effort into themselves. That they need to show up and care about their education just as much as you do. Dont listen to these people. Theyre projecting.
