Hi, guys! When I replaced my gutters a few years ago, the contractor had an array of different finishes to choose from, and one of them was faux copper, which I chose. It looks like the real thing at a fraction of the cost. The guttering was also about 6" in diameter, which can handle a lot more rainwater than the typical size. I get a real charge out of your antics, so thanks for sharing that. Especially putting words in Wally's mouth, which EVERY pet parent does. It's a requirement.
After the Thanksgiving holiday you can leave all the pumpkins all over your property. Whatever isn't eaten by the wild animals will germinate and produce pumpkins for next year
definitely a two man job…Seems that no matter how prepared one is for a door project, there is always a little bit of drama….My house if from 1929, and somehow when you replace things, it doesn’t always go quite smoothly…You guys didn’t have too much drama…Good job!
Thanks. Definitely felt the drama on the other door that we installed on the video before this one, so I think we learned from that experience. It was a beast!
SAVE THE EDGES!!! Especially since it's such a rare species of Edge! Edges need pledges to stay away from ledges and contorting with lemmings cuz we all knowwww about theeem! Now ya'll areblooking for copper in all the wrong places and already looking at thaaat gutter! Heavens to Betsy Lee! Wally can guard for ledges and lemmings he shows such a good focus gnawing on them bones! Think I like the flat black tones too! Tone to Tone! Doors are looking macho with oktoberfest brews and Halloween hints! It's a cinch! ❤❤🏳️🌈🤠🤠🍿
I need a Todd in my life because I have so many jobs that I need help with that I cannot do by myself. I wish companies would put some stuff so all you have to do is just unwrap it and put it together easily. Also my biggest woe is that that what they tell you what to do is in drawing and I am more of a person that likes the written words. These companies say that you should contact their help department but when you do you are on hold for ever before you get help that does not really help you. I remember years ago that the companies really had people that came to your home and did custom service, now it is terrible. Sorry for complaining so much but when you are ill it is so hard. Hope you have a great week ahead.
My Mom subscribed to your channel yesterday and ended up watching 8 episodes. She said she would love to see a pic of your sister's yard now if possible. She also forwarded your channel to 6 of her girlfriends.
The porch garden looks amazing - it really filled out during the summer. Once the house is painted, the whole property will be a show piece. Keep up the great work and my sincere appreciation for you guys sharing your journey.
It definitely did. We have been remarking on how much it changed not only in the past few months, but also from a year ago. Every little bit of work has helped to improve the area. And thank you for the kind words and for tuning in!
Hạnh phúc từ những điều giản đơn, hai bạn thật rễ chịu, đều có gu thẩm mỹ hài hước ngôi nhà rất đẹp, vào mùa thu cây thay lá trông sẽ tuyệt vời, chúc hai bạn mãi sức khỏe hạnh phúc và thành công 💔🫶
Oh...GOTTA be the cracked pepper! All black is gonna look like a funeral home or a morgue or something. Dracula. How depressing...ugh...I know...its your house, but different colors are nice. Why have monochromatic if you dont have to?😉
We're leaning towards Tricorn Black but adding the copper lights and all so that it complements the warm light coming out of all the windows in the evening. We've been loving it so far in the areas we painted. That and the dark greens from the vegetation around, it really pops!🤞
Re: sticking door. Nail coarse sandpaper to the frame that the door is sticking on. Go in/out as usual. Soon the sandpaper will have sanded the door off just enough so it will close nicely w/o dragging...😊
Love the new doors & the new color! Wally looked out when you got the door off like, "Well, about time you fixed it so I can go in & out when I please..." He looked very satisfied...😂
I love you guys, but please wear eye protection when pulling and chipping away at wood? I was watching things fly and all I could think about was your eyes. Sorry to nag! It’s only cause I love ya’s!! 🤟😎🌈☮️
Yes, we definitely should have been using eye protection. Thanks for watching out for us. Honestly wasn't expecting the door to be such a pain to take off. 👍🤓
