At Zone RV in Queensland, we incorporate technology from the aeronautical and marine industries to build lighter, stronger and safer off-road caravans. We manufacture entirely composite bodies and cabinetry systems to assist adventurers in staying below the Gross Combined Mass (GCM) of their tow vehicles. These bodies sit on a cleverly designed chassis that is also weight-conscious and in combination with CruiseMaster suspension systems, will endure long stretches of Australian corrugations!
Each component fitted to a Zone RV off-road caravan is carefully selected to perform superbly, have the lowest likelihood of failure and be straightforward to repair or replace in remote locations by our service partners. Our entire range includes lithium batteries and solar panels, and these off-grid systems can be optioned to suit your needs.
Thanks Pete, the Expedition is a beast considering it has all the functions of a full size van. The tandem axle has been proven to be the superior choice for off road use 🙌
Hey! We are using the Yeti chairs. We did a bit of a run through of all our gear in a previous video here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GOdPNIemRWU.htmlsi=VSEXnyZoenAVHb9Q&t=421
Hi Adrian, could you please let me know how the fuel pod goes in the Expo. We have Expo-100 on order and I was going to do the same thing but I'm worried about the tank breathing on warm days & the diesel smell entering the living quarters in the van. Enjoy the trip, Cheers Steve.
Thanks Tofty travel safe mate. Thanks for the great advice for travelling on the road. Looking forward to seeing your photos and videos of the journey you see. 👍
Interesting saying you supply all zone owners with stone stompers, when I asked zone about them I got told no we don’t supply or fit them you’ll need to organise that yourself.
What a great piece of land to own off the coast of Oz, so remote from the crowds, quiet overall until the military arrive for their annual training in that area. You already looked relaxed Tofty, how good to be travelling to the Cape with a bunch of friends, enjoy and travel safe, see you in the great outdoors, our van is ready in September, I’ll be watching your videos of tips to become familiar & confident 🥂
What a wonderful start to this series. Great advice and useful information, as well as some authentic insights into the travelling life told in a humble and down to earth way. Top videography and editing too!
We’ve had the stage 3 package done on our 300. Now we have clocked up just over 18,000kms doing the lap with our Zone in tow and can’t fault anything. Game changer, great work Just Autos
Jmacx is the best in the business! Always pushing the limits but the correct way. Jase and his team are champions to deal with. Had their gear on our cruisers since their early days. Our Jmacx setup tows our zone like a dream!!
This has just about convinced me to stick with a 300 chop over an American truck. The only thing that still plays on my mind is pulling 4t with a 3.3 V6
We pull our 3.5T Zone with a 300 GRS with that same 3.3 V6. Previously had a 100 Series V8 and a 200 Series Cruiser V8, and the new 300 is streets ahead in terms of power, torque, everything. Pulled our Zone up the Toowoomba Range as if it had nothing on the back. The 10-speed transmission is very smart - I just drive in Normal mode Auto, and let the tranny do its thing. Fabulous vehicle!
Great video Dave, thanks for sharing your story and what a great range of products. I don't know anyone who does not admire the Zone RV and that innovative Mode canopy.
This is why Australia is great. Australian owned and run business helping and employing Australians workers to build a better products and economy Well done
Unreal, this is the future of Australian manufacturing.. I worked at Maritimo where we hand shaped 75ft plugs and being able to 3D print these is a no brainer.
What an incredible story. We have admired Zone RV caravans for a few years before we finally bought our Sojourn in 2023. We love it to bits, it just again proved to be exactly what we wanted - an absolutely dust-free offroad caravan. Thank you for delivering a brilliant product.
Yeah awesome product mate have followed zone from the start, keeps gettting better n better . What ever happened to matt , never see him in any videos anymore
Great intro of the man behind the product and name. Awesome to see you are passionate not only in vans but boats and planes built with and by the latest tech to give strength and more options.
Hi Dave and team, I've been admiring the Zone RV line up for a while now, a really great product. A couple of van length options for couples, sadly, only one option for families. It seems there are more families opting for a smaller van in length and choosing the east west bed option. I'm 6'6" so the east/west bed option provides me the extra length I need, it also reduces the van length to in the range of 19' to 19'6", saving on some weight also, without loosing living, kitchen, bunk and ensuite space. Have you considered adding a shorter east/west Queen bed/bunk option for families? Keep up the great work. Kind regards Shayne
