I own a 01 gen 2 with the 5.9 magnum and 13 ram hemi bought both new both have headers and true dual exhaust Flowmaster 44'S on both. Absolutely no ridiculous 6 cylinder will ever sound as awesome as both my rams or any other hemi. This video shows exactly why i would never own a 6 cylinder in any full size truck. You want gas mileage? Go buy a ranger or Tacoma. There is no substitute for cubic inches
@@speedracerjeff time wise? Thats a good question. I would like to get a draggy and see what it does 0-60mph. I know it burns a lot of rubber from a dig.
@@AsoftDolphinn anytime you start modifying way too far from stock your stressing the engine and other driveline parts. I think you would be ok with some basic mods tho.
shop.aerospacecomponents.com/billethubssn95mustang.aspx This will be the link to the sn95 mustang wheel bearings. They have them for other cars also on the website.
Is this even a good thing though? In Skateboarding a bearing that will spin for a long time without load usually means it wont spin for long with the load of the rider aplied. A bearing without grease for example seems like itll spin forever, but the you get on it, and you are actually slow af.
Hey thanks for the input. I currently don’t have the engine and transmission in the car but i can make another video with the car on the ground and see if it rolls good with the weight on the new Aerospace Components hubs.
I did call aerospace components and they said these bearings I have are sent out to have some kind of anti friction process done to them similar to micro blue.
On my 2019 5.7 classic.ive done intake, muffler but now it's time for the pcm swap and tuner then cam,mds delete kit with lifters bitch is gunna ripppp!! Just gotta drop 2000 buck's lol. Should be pushing 500 horse i think its my first project lol
Its my buddy’s truck. He said it makes somewhere around 400 wheel horsepower. He has plans on putting a big wipple blower on it soon and shooting for 800 wheel horsepower.
I got a 2012 single cab sport and man if you cut the exhaust short off the headers it sounds so clean no clapping sounds line a 5.3 but it makes it shift funny and no back pressure
@@ashtonsmith3504 oh yeah I bet. I’ve noticed even with the y pipe muffler delete I lost a bunch of low end power. I put a pedal commander in it and the truck definitely feels quicker but I’d like to get a nice flowmaster setup
This truck has a tune, muffler delete, cold air intake and a stage 2 cam if I remember correctly. The cam and muffler delete is probably the biggest contributing factor to the way it sounds.
Its a buddies truck. It had a Diablo hand held tuner if I remember correctly where you just upload the pre programmed hot tune into it. I think he ended up later on having it fine tuned on a dyno. I don’t personally have a preference for a brand but a custom dyno tune will be your best bet since it will give you the absolute best tune for your specific truck with your specific mods. I know we have dyno shops in my area that will recommend what they like best.
Making me wanna post a video of mine from the inside lol. Future reference don’t use the manual mode when “racing” bc the 8 speed trans is pretty quick as is and you’ll just be wearing the trans down quicker using the manual mode.
Build the transmission and put a 3000rpm stall torque converter in her get an oversized transmission cooler on her and put 4.10 gears in the rear end. It will be a rocket ship.
did you need to replace the pcm for the diablo tune? I just got a the diablo and a cam, tried uploading to my stock pcm and wouldnt let me, says i need to swap to an unlocked pcm. 2015 ram rebel
All good. Its my friends truck actually. He just put stock replacement brake pads and rotors on it last summer I believe. The truck sounds even better in person 🤘😃
