Yes! Salvage 1! The cast and space ship looked familiar, but the movie name felt totally wrong! It was a short run TV series that I liked and watched when it first aired 45 years ago in 1979. It was a family quality comedy/drama. Much of the stuff from Hollyweird nowadays is cr@p. We need more family quality programs. There is humor and irony in that statement coming from me because I chose to never marry and never have kids, but I don't like cr@ppy shows. So bring back family programming!
2:46 Christine's engine sounds like a beating heart (or even a cat's purr) when Arnie first starts her up. Could show how happy she was that Arnie wanted her.
So F'ing STOOOOPiD. Halfway through I was embarassed for the people that had made this ridiculous pile. Two thirds of the way through I was embarassed for myself for watrching it. Geezuz what a stupid movie.
I like what they did with this scene, but, there’s one nitpick that I have with the monkeys… mandrills don’t have tails that long. Like, why did the long tails get added on if nothing’s gonna be done with them?
One thing i noticed is all the other guys are military. Rangers, Navy SEALS, West Point grads. But they aren't really looking for military, they're looking for law enforcement. Comes with a different background, skill set, mind set. Definitely gave Edwards a big leg up on the competition
Man, time really slides doesn’t it? Christine in this scene should be 25 years old (1958 Plymouth, movie is from 1983), yet she’s treated as this antique car.
This reminds me of the film, "Cosmos", which is similar in that it is intelligently written and well acted . this one having Gillian Anderson is definitely a plus . what a great ride this was.
