"How do", I'm Andy Lorian. As a person with disabilities and I'd like you to share my adventures. Hopefully I can help others see what can be done in Disney parks along with sharing my knowledge and experiences of coping with holidays, rides, whilstout and about.
Please join me as I venture through my life of Disney, Comic Cons, conventions, and as much geekery as possible.
We're also hoping one day to win big on the lottery so we can afford to visit all six Disney castles. Arthritic fingers crossed!
I am surprised the plane could get off the ground with all that food in you 😂. We have done both the 6pm and 10pm Virgin flights, for us the 10pm flights are a killer for us. It's such a long day. It was great to meet up with you both. See you next trip.
Yeah, the day was busy but manageable. As soon as it got dark, everyone flooded into the area for the group lightsaber shot. That's when it triggered my anxiety with being crowded in, and people were just getting over excited.
@samuraijmb That was the problem, they'd hit capacity in the area infront of the Falcon, but crowds were still trying to get in. Many were pushing, some were ramming prams into people to get through. The cast members were doing their best, but the problem was the people.
HI Andy! Wd love flight of passage , definitely a must do ride! The Lion king show is a real spectacle , we've never got to see it yet... You got some great shots of the tiger! Thanks for sharing 👍
I've not heard anything about it closing. It not long open and run bu a third party, so there will likely be a contract to run out first before any decision is made.
Thanks for the comment, whilst I also believe this to be the case, a friend managed to get their son registered at customer services at Hollywood Studios late last week. I'll ensure there's a disclaimer in my description.
I have not watched your whole video, but I hope you are aware of the changes that went to affect for WDW on the 20th of May 2024 and for Disneyland in California on June 18th. They pretty much are no longer approving DAS for the majority of Disabled. It now states it's mainly for those with neurodivergent conditions such as autism and similar conditions. But I have read stories where families with autistic children are even being denied, depending on the severity of their condition or how answers are given for everyday coping. It's truly sad to me that they have made such a drastic over the top change, where they have way overcorrected what they see as a means for abled persons to cheat the system by applying for DAS. Most of us legitimately have reasons to apply for it, but they decide that we are not disabled enough and narrow eligibility down to a smaller portion within the Disabled Community. I haven't tried to renew mine yet as it's still good through the 9th of July, but I am afraid they will deny me a renewal. I'm hoping that they won't. But even if they do approve me, though I would be very grateful, it still makes it less magical for me, as I feel for the rest of the community.
Hi there. Thanks for reaching out. Yeah, the announcement of the changes came out shortly after my upload. This vlog was to help people with the process of applying. In that, there have been no real changes, and the cast member will discuss your issues whether they're mental, physical or developmental and advise as their current rules dictate. I'm hopeful that common sense will ensue, but unfortunately the system was being abused. I've seen parties of 10+ going through on a das pass. I wish you well with your visits and hope you can still get the support you need.
@sixcastleswish what I think they could have done was something Universal Hollywood did, and have a 3rd party agency verify people's issues (via a note from a health provider to validate their diagnosis). I went through that process myself and got approved at Universal and it's good for a year. If Disney adopted this, I think It would weed out those who would abuse the system without taking DAS away from people who legitimately need it.
@cindyevans2512 Or even like Disneyland Paris. They go through your abilities, based on what support you need in an evacuation, ask for proof and give you a physical pass accordingly. It works much better and doesn't appear to be abused as much as Florida.
Enjoyed your video... Love Seven dwarves! We rode Tron twice, great ride even though for me its very uncomfortable the whole experience is next level! Thanks for sharing
Where you on the bike? Although I was able to fit on the bike, it wouldn't have been comfortable. We rode in the car at the back. Such an amazing experience and very comfortable, for me.
@sixcastleswish on the bike both times but next time we will definitely ask to ride in the car at the back... I found the position incredibly awkward and uncomfortable and afterwards had over reach discomfort, though I still found the ride exhilarating... I think I'm possibly built for comfort not speed 😅
I have never noticed that patch on the back window of the shuttle before, was it damaged ? Also, it's a shame you got Kylo B mode, but it's quite a frequent occurrence.
Yeah, as far as I remember, that black patch has always been there. B mode Kylo was the only bit of the ride we haven't seen. We broke down in the AT-AT room once.
Great ending to a Vlog!! Loving your work....am a new Subscriber but am going back and checking out your earlier work. I always have Mayo with my Chips...best thing ever!! Keep going, you're AWESOME!! xx
Hi There, I'm a new subscriber but I loved your Vlog - I'm also there in January and can't wait!! Anyway, thanks for the Vlog, look forward to the next one.
Hi and thanks for subscribing. We went this January. It was very cold, but the parks weren't too busy. Check out our earlier vlogs. Hope you have a fantastic time when you go.
At first, I thought people just walking into me all the time was just rude, but then I realised that they were all in their own little world, just trying to get to the next ride. Apart from Avengers Campus, people were pushing people out of the way to get closer.
Beautiful park, reminds me so much more of Disneyland than Disney World does. ❤thanks for sharing your adventures! New sub 🎉 can’t wait to see more Disney vlogs
@@sixcastleswish looking forward to it! I live in California so Disneyland is what I’m most used to. I’ve been to WDW 3 times, once as a kid. I want to wait till Epcot is more finished to return again.
