I'm very glad you enjoyed the routine, however, the moves in this routine are simply not mine to reveal. It was created using sleights from various magicians. If you want to learn them you should look at the work of Aldo Columbini, Steve Bedwell, Richard Sanders, Daryl, Francis Tarbary. and Tarbel.

You're not actually doing much of the counter top spin most would consider offensive counter top spin. The blade face is open and it is not aggressive enough. When your opponent loops your underspin shots, you are blocking on your FH.
@BeardedSte
@BeardedSte 2 месяца назад
Thanks for the comment and advice.. This was my first time using the blade and I've not had the C48 for long. I need to train and practice to get the counter top spin technique that is currently lacking. I will strive to improve this.

personally this would be cool if it didn't look fake. Why 2 layers of blindfolding? I feel like that's were the magic takes over and makes this bit fake.
@BeardedSte
@BeardedSte 8 месяцев назад
Such a skeptic! Do extra layers make it easier to see?
@JustIn-case
@JustIn-case 8 месяцев назад
You only need extra layers to create the illusion of being unable to see. In reality, you only need one layer. you could literally tie a shirt around your eyes and being sufficiently blind. also, there's one other guy on youtube that's a magician that uses the exact same 2 layer blindfold to achieve the same feat. Extra layers make this faker. only need 1. how about you do this again and let me choose what your blindfold yourself with..... @@BeardedSte
@BeardedSte
@BeardedSte 8 месяцев назад
Yeah, I have seen Leon the Magician doing this too, more recently than this video. The person I'm playing in this video only has a one layer blindfold on. When using that one live, people often say that is suspicious and think I can see out of the gap between the blindfold and the nose. That's a common way of seeing through things like scarves and other clothing around your eyes. There are always people, whichever way you do it, who will find something wrong with it. It's only a bit of fun entertainment though. It's best not to get too serious about it.
@JustIn-case
@JustIn-case 8 месяцев назад
nah. I'm not getting suspicious just found it hilarious. I think this is now a legit record to set. Theres another video with rafal nadal hitting several shots blinfolded normally. I also thinks its fake but wonder if theres anyone that can legit replicate this in multiple videos@@BeardedSte
@JustIn-case

Now students I’m going to,teach you some math! So when you are teaching math you say the answer is “4”! Now find out how to get there yourself….get it? If you are showing your magic fine… If you say you’re going to teach it….teach it. Socratic method doesn’t work with a physical process.

This is RU-vid mate. You can find all sorts of stuff here. If you want to learn magic, I can suggest some good reading material, or a good online magic shop where you can pay for tutorials and the secrets to learn magic. That way the creators of magic can make a living too.

nice, i like your method! how long did it take you to get your first solve? the problem solving required for that is very impressive to me. if you ever decide to learn a new method to get faster or something, you will definitely notice similar concepts. the algorithm that you use to solve the yellow corners is very popular, and the reverse of it is used in many beginner tutorials for the same step (orienting corners of last layer). The way you found to swap 2 corners is pretty sick; i have never seen it before but i can see how you could've found it just by trying a lot of different things. and your method for solving the last edges is quite neat.
@BeardedSte
@BeardedSte Год назад
Thanks. It took just over 3 months to get my first solve. There were a few times after that, when I got stuck with things again and it took days to work it out again Then I worked out the way to move the corners in the bottom layer properly, so another 2 weeks after they to be able to solve properly every time..
