If it has the same movement as other drum watches, you can stop the drums rotating when you’re not wearing it. All you do is press the lower right hand button three times and the drums roll around to 12.00. Then later, when you press any button it returns to the correct time. Saves battery power too.
Amazing collection! I have one of the musical ones and the time is stuck at 12:00 and not moving, don’t know how to make it work and is driving me crazy!!
Great channel and videos. I recently purchased the same GP Casquette, but after replacing the batteries, it's not powering on. Any suggestions? Do you service watches or know if any LED experts in Canada? Would love to get this working!
I have a Benrus i would love fixed I can’t find the same watch anywhere it’s been a min but I stumbled across this // if you know anyone who would attempt to fix I’d love to hear!
Great job! Will try this with one similar model that's missing segments. Tell me, would it be bad to try cleaning zebra strip without removing it first? Also, did you manage to clean/polish the back of the case somehow?
I had this problem on two different digitals and solved it by swapping out the quartz crystals. One of them did it again after a year or so and a second QC change did the trick. Been about 3 years now and both are still working fine.
Hey i just got a Casio C-70 for free untested. I jusy ordered batteries. Hopefully it works fine. However if it doesnt work 100% could i mail it to you to potentially fix it?
