Is this on a new build or did this issue randomly show up one day? Check if you have any GPU intensive processes going on in the background in the task manager (CTRL + Shift + Esc) first and close them. If not let me know and we’ll go from there.
@@JoshG-PC I have my pc 11 months. I always have low processes (under 100) because I want the best gaming performance with the less input delay possible
@@JoshG-PC I asked the guy who built my pc and he told me that the water from the water cooling system is probably dried out because I never have changed it before. Unfortunately I have to wait 2 days until I get my pc fixed because he doesn’t live near me, and I don’t know how to fill the water myself
@@Kxpaa ah I see. I’m not too familiar with water cooled systems can you see the water running through the pipes? One additional thing I would recommend while you wait is verify your drivers are up to date through the AMD control panel.
Removing scratches requires wet sanding from 500 grit up to 6000 grit then you can polish using a rotary with oxyde cerium (ceriglass). Otherwise nothing will happen.
I’m having this issue right now I don’t know why my computer isn’t turning on! It is a new pc build and I’m using a m.2 ssd on a X-570 AMD ASUS Motherboard. Anyone know how to fix this issue?
@@JoshG-PC I don’t have any hdds I only have a 1tb ssd connected to the motherboard. There is a green light showing on the motherboard and my screen is stuck on the TUF GAMING logo and I tried swapping out my keyboards and to no avail nothing is happening when I hit f2 or delete key
Ok a few things: 1. Try resetting your CMOS if you have not already. 2. Unplug all usb devices and try to boot. If you get past the splash screen you can plug in your keyboard and see if it works. 3. Verify your monitor is plugged in to your GPU not your motherboard. 4. Re-seat your m.2 5. Try booting with a single stick of RAM. 6. Re-seat your GPU. This is the process I would go through to troubleshoot this issue. I hope this helps. -Josh
If you havent yet went with rotary on paint. Chill out, start low, set expectations at medium. If you make 2 step correction and finish polish without swirls you win anyways. For Rotaty it makes better finish gloss if you take things carefully. DA is for sure as safest for newbies following mindful steps. If you invest your time into your owning setup and follow simple instruction afterwhile you studied, you realize a lot new things under the hood of things. If it makes you happy, if its worthwile your time as hobby for fun and maybe relaxing a little bit and you can loose your time and energy and still you accept that, then, Start or rethink. But I think it rewards you if you are a car enthusiast anyway. For me There is no bad choice, deciding any way you choose for yourself. Maybe it helps someone, neverknow 👋🏻
I use Ceriglass and have some info/advice. 1st up, removing scratches from glass is tedious work. Too much heat could damage the glass. I did a small windshield using a buffer. Took 4hrs and not all scratches were removed. Heres how I do it. I use my G8 buffer with a 3in backing plate. I use Griots rayon pads. G8 is a DA. Make sure to keep the machine moving with a speed of around 2-3. Do NOT sit in 1 place digging at scratches!!!! When compound starts to dry, I give the pad a small squirt of water and the glass a small squirt and continue buffing. I've learned that scratches are VERY difficult to remove and most of the time none or very little will actually be removed. Check the OCD at the door. Never guarantee to remove ALL scratches. As far as doing it by hand, forgetaboutit. At best you'll just clean the glass. You'll never remove any scratches like that. Took me 4hrs with a machine. It'll take you 4months by hand and you still won't remove scratches. Just my 2 cents. Good luck
@@bigstick346 great advice. I appreciate you taking the time to mention that. I did end up getting a rotary buffer but the juice ain’t worth the squeeze at this point. My time is worth just getting the rear glass replaced. But I do need to pick up a DA for other polish work. You like the Griots?
I like both, G8 & G9. The 3in(G8) I found to be good for the glass. From the looks of your window, it looks gone. It's a little hard to see clearly, but from what I see, you're not getting those out. Change the glass and ceramic the window. Keep making videos. You probably answered someone newer than you, their curiosity/concern.
I think that you are ment to use a polishing machine for that stuf so you can budd out the scraches. No way a couple passes by hand could do something.
That's awesome! I have not done much to this GTI yet as I was anticipating competing in autocross this year so most of my time has been put into prepping it for the summer however, before I moved up here to Alaska I sold my Ko4 GLI and the goal is to get back to that level with this thing.
Fantastic video! Currently enjoying the performance of an RX 7600 after several years with a GTX 970. Upgrading your hardware is always an exciting experience. Ignore those who suggested waiting for the 40XX super refresh; in their opinion, every gamer should upgrade their GPU whenever Nvidia makes so much as a fart noise and then will try to slap a price on it. IMO the 4070 is a pretty darn fast piece of hardware, it will absolutely last you for years!
