@@snoozingblu That's a really good idea! The post-it notes that I had at the beginning of the sketchbook were drawing ideas but I never looked at them 😅 My go-to is to just do a screenshot redraw from an anime or videogame when I'm art blocked but the spinning wheel sounds really fun!
I like the bright colors and the edging is beautiful. I also like the soft cream color to the pages, and the visibility of the dots on the dotted page is quite helpful. Here's the "but"- to me the ghosting is troubling. I expect ghosting and bleed through with "exotic" pens like tombows and definitely with things like watercolors but to have ghosting happen even with just plain finepoint pens like the energel and the mujipen is just plain unacceptable to me. CUTEST LAD!!! I kind of like the chubby childish look on your drawing, and that might be because I'm already used to the skinny character models that seeing someone's take on a character's body build is refreshing to me x'D

Kaeya simp supremacy 👏🤝Albedo is by far my favorite in terms of backstory, he's one of the most intriguing characters in the game. I got more hooked on his story event over the main plot 🤣(but that's mostly because I get very easily distracted by EVERYTHING I SEE) This piece came out beautiful! I love the metallic accents in the background and I'm amazed at the clarity and precision of the details! Also, Albedo has the best character theme and all of the Zhongli nation can FIGHT ME
omg YES Kaeya simps unite!!😤I will simp for that man until the day I die, I love him so much 😭💕💕💕 And I totally agree--Albedo's story is so good and I'm really excited to see how his story plays out in future events (darn you miHoYo for leaving us on a cliffhanger at the end of the 2.3 event quest!!). His theme is so beautiful and I loved the ballad version they did for the event--I did not start playing Genshin until Xiao's initial banner last year so I missed out on Albedo's first story/event quest but his theme still sounded so nostalgic and I got chills when they played it during the cutscene where he was going after Subject Two ;w;
the gold accents at the end of this piece tied it together so nicely!! 😭💕 I'm excited for whenever Albedo gets another rerun because I'll definitely be pulling for him next time,, his most recent story quest made me fall so in love with him ;__; <3 I'm so happy you put together a new video tho!! its always nice to see your content 💖
Thank you so much!! QAQ<333 I've loved using the Sakura Pen-Touch for accents and they've worked really nicely in my bullet journal as well! I've also found that the metallic sheen seems to pop out a lot more than some of the other metallic pens/markers that I've tried. And omg Albedo has become nearly a must for my team regardless of the team comp since his skill is so nice and does so much damage even when he is off the field ;w; And his story quest was so good, I'm so mad that miHoYo left us on such a huge cliffhanger >___<

Thank you so much!! I really enjoyed watching Darling in the Franxx but I am also biased since I love Studio Trigger 😅. I binge watched it over a few days and it's a series that plays on themes of coming of age and boys vs. girls while throwing in a lot of action as well. Studio Trigger is infamous for doing huge 0 to 100 plot twists in their series and I think a lot of the controversy over the series about whether it's "good" or "bad" is from people's opinions on the pacing in the last 1/3 of the series since if you're not familiar with Trigger's storytelling style, the pace may feel a bit rushed in the end (it didn't bother me). I definitely recommend checking out the series if you have the chance!<3

Surprisingly I ended up not really carrying my bujo back and forth between home and work like I had anticipated and was able to keep it home on my desk! I still prefer the smaller size though since I primarily use it as a planner to keep track of deadlines/events so I don't end up using that much writing space.. One day I might try to incorporate more journaling and find that I need to up the size but for now I'm content with ~<A5

the metallic watercolor background is such a gorgeous addition to your line work pieces!! I think I remember you did a similar style with other KH characters?? I absolutely love the way it looks!! it really makes the finished artwork seem like a "complete" piece and the metallic is such a gorgeous finish 💖💖💖

I'm so so happy you made a video on the process of this piece 😭💖 he turned out absolutely gorgeous!! and as always I really enjoy watching your lineart process!! it's really satisfying to see you make so many clean and precise lines!!! I also really struggle with doing voice overs,,, I kind of recently started scripting most of my videos (especially when it came to review videos.. it was so hard for me to wing it with those 😖). I try and talk out loud as I'm writing the script to make it sound more natural/how I would talk and honestly it's such a big help when it comes to doing voiceovers omg,, saves me so much time and frustration. voice overs and thumbnails are my least favorite part of making youtube videos lmao. I'm really glad you enjoyed darling in the franxx, though!! I've already seen it 2-3 times so when you said you probably won't rewatch it I was like nOOO (although I am REALLY bad about remembering anything that happened in shows?? give me like 6 months and it's basically like I'm watching it for the first time LOL) but I'm really glad you enjoyed the series all the way through, especially since a lot of people weren't super satisfied with how the show ended!

QAQ<3333 Sometimes if there's a specific topic that I want to discuss I might do a loose script/template outline-thing to make sure I cover all points, especially if it's a review type of video. And I agree--the voiceover part is one of my most dreaded parts of editing; I can see why some people just do text overlays for their videos as it is probably much easier LOL. Though I do prefer voiced videos since I can then have it play in the background while I multitask ;w; I really enjoyed the series and it was definitely an adrenaline rush but for me it just doesn't seem to have great replayability. And that doesn't mean that the series is bad--there are other series that I really enjoyed that I also can't see myself rewatching (Free! and The Promised Neverland come to mind) so it isn't anything against my overall opinion of it! ^^
That purple is really pretty! What sketchbook is that? Do you find it handles watercolor well, or only in small amounts? I mainly use Microns for finelining, they weren't my first choice in the beginning because I didn't like the look of the pen, to be honest, but I really like how they write. I also really enjoy the Edding 1800 Profipen. I got a pack of Spectrum Noir fineliners in one of those subscription boxes once though and while I haven't used the normal fineliners much (mostly because the casing is a bit larger than normal and it feels a bit weird for me to hold), but the brush tip pen in that pack is fantastic, it has a nice bold black. I find the Zig pens dry out really fast, and the UniPin are just ok. I have swatch sheets of all of the pens I've tested if you are interested.
Thank you!! I'm using the Moleskine sketchbook--I've had it laying around for many years and I'm trying to slowly get through my sketchbooks 😅. It's a nice sturdy sketchbook but definitely not made for watercolors in the sense that the paper immediately absorbs wet media so you end up with lots of streaking. I'd say it can handle light washes without too much warping of the paper so it's fine for adding accent colors, but I wouldn't recommend it for full watercolor pieces. I think microns were my first fineliners and I don't recall anything particularly "wrong" with them but I did quickly move on to trying other brands; I may come back to giving them another chance. I've recently tried the UniPin but was disappointed to find that they're not waterproof. I had a friend recommend Zig but it doesn't seem that those are waterproof either. Granted, most of my work is dry media so not having waterproof fineliners is not the worst thing but occasionally when I've finished lining a piece I have the urge to just throw some watercolors on so it'd be nice to just have waterproof fineliners ^^
@@shiniXIII I think Microns and Copic fineliners are waterproof. The Copic SP fineliners are really nice to hold and study with their metal casing and I like the fact that their cartridges/tips are replaceable. They go all the way down to a 0.03, which is crazy tiny to me.
@@Mackerachi I have tried the Copic SP fineliners in the past; I think they were the second brand I tried after Microns and I was definitely shocked with the 0.03 size! I ended up moving away from them since I found that the black was not as dark/pigmented compared to other brands. I'm currently trialing the Ohuhu fineliners since those are also waterproof but if I get bored of them I may try Microns again since I do have some laying around (assuming they haven't dried out lol). I think if need be, my "fallback" is the LePen fineliners since I've been using those the longest; the only downside is that the nibs wear down incredibly fast before I get to use up all the ink. They're also really affordable and waterproof as well! ^^

Ahhhhh thank you!!!<3 Sometimes I consider trying out a more loose/less structured lineart process similar to what you do but I'm so ocd that I end up defaulting to my own lineart style/process LOL 😂 And yes! The finetec (and any metallic watercolor) paints are so fun to use--even when cleaning the brush in water it just looks so magical being swirled around :o
I had three tests done with the swap when my mother tested positive. For me it was nothing but my son moaned in pain way after he got his test so everyone is different. :) I am glad you were fine and got the vaccine. It can be scary getting it for something new.

I continue to be surprised that the swab experience can be so drastically different from person to person, and sometimes I also wonder if a part of it is also dependent on the person who is doing the swab?? Either way, I hope you and your family don't have to go through the swab experience again! ;w;

And yeee Aru's mom is really pretty, I'm really happy with her character design! I have such cute headcanons of her and Aru's dad..maybe one day I'll miraculously get around to doing mini comics showing off their interactions/past....in addition to the ones of Rain and Denzyl LOL :'D

I used to draw in like 5 different sketchbooks at once so I have hardly any finished ones XD I've been trying to stick to just one but I need a different one for marker drawings so it doesn't bleed through. I've had a 24 set of the col erase pencils for the loongest time, but I've actually never used them for coloring like you would a regular colored pencil 😂 your piece turned out gorgeous!! I'm so excited to see a sketchbook tour ☺️💕 congrats again on finishing your illo!!
Ahhhh thank you!!! ;w;<3333 Tbh there's nothing particularly special or fancy about coloring with the col-erase; I think I just enjoyed doing something new with my art process. They're definitely super fun to use for sketching/doodles though! I keep the entire set as "open stock" in my pencil holder so every time I'm in the mood to draw I just reach out and grab a color--it's definitely made my sketchbook spreads more fun to flip through!
for what it's worth, i have (not a tsuki) but one of the limited edition notebook therapy journals. it actually is great with everything. no ghosting at all. except of course alcohol markers. but everything else, NO GHOST. the only thing i don't like about it is that it is kind of pricey. but then sometimes i guess it's worth the cost if you can have something highly functional and no aggravations. ----i can use any pen, and also tombo brush pens.
That's awesome to hear! I usually only go through only one bullet journal per year but I've been wanting to try more of the notebook therapy bullet journals since I really like the Tsuki one and they keep coming out with such cute designs!
shiniXIII I got the whale design and the Mount Fuji design. I love them both. Notebook therapy is a weird site though, because some of the things will come right away and I think are original to them. But other things they are just a reseller, you can get way cheaper from Alliexpress And similar. Part of my order took over a month to arrive. And I read reviews that some people never received their items. So they are kind of a mixed bag. But their Tsuki pencil cases and their journals are fantastic.
All of the designs are so cute, it's so hard to choose! The whale and mt fuji ones were really cute iirc 😊 And I think I've only ordered their original products; I'm not surprised to hear about the mixed reviews of their other products though since there are a LOT of asian-themed stationery sites that sell nearly identical things and it's obvious they're all going through some wholesale 3rd party. Still a bummer though since it'd be nice if they were consistent in their service :I
Very nice inking, love the washes and very nice drawing of Denzyl. So happy for you that you will be moving on to the next stage of your studies in medicine. I will be taking part in Inktober but will be making it more of a personal challenge and using ink and other art supplies.
