Pen raised birds? or wild birds? Are they released before your hunt or in the summer? I would like to learn more about this place. I am from Iowa and very dearly miss pheasant hunting. Also would like to know if any dog training and services are offered there?
Man its nice to see a true call made I watch guys that turn a barrel and say they made a call after putting a pre made sound board in. I make mine the same as you my kid is a drummer and I use his old skins for my reeds. Again nice job
Could have used some description of what's going on, plus some editing to eliminate watching so much boring stuff, like applying CA glue. Wouldn't have minded hearing the call actually work too...
Thomas Sellers it wasn’t meant to be a tutorial. I made it while building a call for a customer so he could watch his call being made and just uploaded as an after thought. Thanks for the input and if I do another video of me making one I will try and include more details and a sound file.
Nice video and hunt!! In all my 30+ years of hunting turkeys I've only killed one turkey that have a double beard, and you had to look pretty close to see the second beard. I almost missed it, barely an inch long! LOL!! Great stuff man!!
Nice video! Hey, take a look at my turkey hunt last Monday and my channel, and I would consider it an honor if you would subscribe. I just subscribed to your channel. Let me know what you think. Thanks... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-msk0KaOQN4Y.html

+alastair ewart As I have said, these birds are closer than they look due to the GoPro style of camera. These birds are all between the 30 and 40 yard mark and due to our blind and water level that is what we got. If in your opinion that is sky busting then I am a sky buster. We also had our limits in less than 2 hours. So, we did have plenty of time to go shoot some skeet. Thanks for watching.
great shooting fellas! I'm a young avid hunter out of michigan and i love to see good people cancel some flights in the south. My dog's name is Cash and he's a lab so it might be time for me to make the trip to Cash, Arkansas! Again, great shooting and great footage of the ducks falling into the spread
Patent4Life99 Thanks a lot. It was spur of the moment to zip tie the camera to the blind but it kinda worked. The small camera's really make the ducks seem further away than they are. I wish I would have had a little more view of the sky. BTW, Cash is a great place.
John Atkins Good filming. maybe put the camera on a camo pole behind the blind, so that you can capture the ducks decoying and you guys shooting at the same time. set it as far back as you need to so that you can see the full spread
Me either! One of the first I ever tried to get and really wasn't planning on filming. I literally zip tied the camera to the blind. Half the time I didn't even know if was on or not.
Logan - This is private lease Glockman - I retired it last year for a Super Vinci. Weatherby runs great but it has to be kept clean. I still use it for light loads like quail hunting.
It was a small hand held that would not record for very long so I had to turn it on and off. So it had to be close. Wish I would have pointed it in a better direction, but last minute thoughts give you last minute results.
Set up your decoys in small groups and pockets. With all your decoys spread around like one pile .Make it look real and put your decoys in small groups . The hole in the front is correct. But it doesn`t look alive.
