Hey everyone! My name is Klint and this channel is all about BAG REVIEWS! Each video on the channel will feature a full walkthrough of the bag, two things I loved about each bag & two things I wish were different along with an overall recommendation of WHO IS THIS BAG PERFECT FOR? All reviews are 'one take' - meaning that I speak from the heart, share my real thoughts, and don't edit anything. You get me and the item I'm reviewing, that's it. You may know me from my POV Exploration channel (@bitofawander), but on this channel, we explore the world of bags! Sling bags, backpacks, messengers, all of them! We will do reviews and features here and talk all things bags! I work full-time, but also find time to travel, explore, and camp - putting these bags through their paces! Check out the links on my channel page for more info or to learn how to support what we are doing here! Affiliate links in the video description do result in support as well if you use them.
I think it’s a design choice and also aids in water resistance without having to add aquaguard zippers. Very common on messenger bags, and repeated to the sling bags here.
Bags also reminds me of scifi design language. The branding on the bag looks a little too much like a corporate swag branded bag and could use some cleaning up.
Ooo unique. I like them. I can't say I'm mad about the brand name. I know it's different, but Fara.. I hear that and think of Farah Slacks with elasticated waist.. 🫣
@@ThePerfectBag if I set up a bag company, I'd call it... Brian. Brian Bags.. no one carries better than Brian.. theres only one name in the carry community, and thats, Brian.. 🤪🤪
Oh - and I already checked in on the strap that was slipping a little and made me nervous - they’re addressing that in the production model. So they are already on top of pretty much all my suggestions! Pretty awesome!!!! The final bags seem like they will be pretty killer.
I have a smaller edc x-pac bag from adidas with this buckle and it has quickly become one of my favorites, I need this on the 3.5l explorer, or I need tomtoc to make a 3.5l version of this wanderer bag.
Grabbed this bag for a 5 day trip to San Diego; perfect size and fit everything I needed, securely. (Full edc/wallet, puffco proxy, wax, glob mops, battery bank, snacks, etc etc etc) I think they wasted internal space with the padding and there's really no need for the padding at all. I'd appreciate more methods of securing stuff higher in the bag, as it all falls to the bottom (maybe an upper zipper front pocket on the inside. I'd also appreciate a fidlock strap and/or buckles with more swivel. The orientation of the strap is pretty good for a fixed strap, but I'd prefer the anchors weren't fixed. The tomtoc is way closer to $40 with coupons all the time and is incomparable to the AER or Alpaka.
As they just announced a Synik 26, would you consider that a good EDC bag (non-travel)? I’m debating if I should keep my preordered CPL16 (I should get it this October) or get this Synik 26 as a coffee shop bag & kids’ doctor visits bag. My main use for a backpack would be to carry my 14” MacBook to take somewhere and get some work done. I had originally wanted the Synik 22 but I’ve heard the side laptop zipper is too small to fit my 14” MacBook. I would love to hear your thoughts on this as you are definitely the guy to ask in this land of RU-vid.
Bro you all over the place with your explanation😂 Remove the frame sheet and it fit better Armor goes in side the pack in the main premier brand is good

I really love his stuff. To the point that I own at least one or two things for which I don’t have use cases. Also, prices aren’t extortionate like some small makers who shall remain unnamed.
I like that 5.11 is not as stiff as maxpedition (for us urban folks). (I own both). I do wish it had water bottle pockets on this size. They have a great lineup of products!
Thank you for the videos. They are quite helpful and a lot of fun. I watched the first Rush 12 video several times. Question: which design do you like the most, the Multicam or the Woodland? Can’t make up my mind. Thank you -Robert from Chicago.
Looks like a great bag, but I just wish it wasn't SO tactical looking. It's actually hard to find a quality clamshell pack around this price point in general, and I love the features this one has like that front pocket. But I'm not sure I could carry it into my office haha
@@ThePerfectBag I could have swear that you did a review on it on your channel. I am looking forward to the bag, but it is my first Greenroom backpack.
Had the 12 and 24 for years, tried the sling one (not for me), the 12 seems like the perfect unbeatable edc bag, i use a more fancy bag for travel and less "i m military" (Aer city pro )
Klint you missed a major feature of this bag; the interior padded laptop pocket DOESN’T run all the way to the bottom of the bag. This is awesome as you can drop / place the bag on the floor and the laptop doesn’t hit the ground. EG the rush 24 doesn’t have this feature and I actually dented my laptop one time by setting the bag down too hard - the laptop inside smacked the ground.
Had the rush 24 for years. Moved to a rush 12 for years…. Recently moved to a carhartt roll top thing for - about a month - I’m back to the rush12. It’s unbeatable as an edc bag.
@@ThePerfectBag I've the exact bag but in the Kangaroo / Beigey Brown colour. It's a bit big and heavy for carrying my purse and keys everyday tbh, but I love it for forestry and woodland hikes. 👍
