Hi new viewer here! Would love to have some music on the BG as low as possible and some editing cause that's what attract viewers thanks for reading this ❤
@@Nithiyalase Thank you for the feedback and the support! Certainly will consider this! I usually do so however, I was definitely just trying to get the video released on time.😅
Hi Halima! Always thank you for the video about SOAS as I’m planning to study there) could you please tell me is it necessary to pay for this accommodation in advance or you can pay monthly for example?
@@Ann-y7x hey, you are very welcome! I paid the amount in thirds throughout the year - most students do it this way. I am sure that you can pay in full upfront too :)
@@livinglima thank you! Really sad that it’s not allowed to pay monthly as I can not afford to pay in advance( I’m looking for a room in a flat but it’s also expensive 😅
@@Ann-y7x Yeh it is frustrating, some places do monthly and some don’t. Although, do ask because i know that they changed the payment system later last year and so you could select a certain amount to pay. I just paid the full third so my rent was out of the way.
Hi i was wondering how come the bathroom you showed only had your things in it as Iq vega is advertised as a shared bathroom accommodation, is it because there is only two people in your flat instead of three?
@@palomadc9178 As mentioned, my flatmates were cool with me just using it because I preferred that it was cleaned regularly. But if there was ever an issues with the other one, they were free to use it. We also did mainly have 2 people for most of the year. :)
Can you please do a video on the SOAS campus tour. I know its difficult to show the campus around but you will no doubt get many clicks from future / potential and interested students who want to go there. I am interested in Economics, so would be great if you can show us the SOAS campus / cafe / study spots / hidden spots and how the lecture / seminar halls look like.
@@user-pb5jt6xk2m It’s certainly an idea that I have in mind. I’ll try make it possible. If not, I will try incorporate information about the campus in my vlogs :) But yes, I totally agree !
*usually would not post at this time but because of the continuous complications, I wanted to make sure that the vid was out as soon as possible after last night. (I ain’t taking any bets lol) Sorry again and enjoy the video! Any questions, please ask away!! :)
@@bluemacaroons good luck! Don’t worry, once you make some friends you’ll find that exploring London will be an instant social activity. It will make exploring alone even easier! 😂
Hello Halima!! Firstly, thank you so much for all the videos about SOAS, it's so nice seeing a creator from your future uni and course upload vlogs!! Secondly, I haven't seen anything online about being able to take a course at an external uni for your third year. For instance, could I take a course at LSE in my third year? Thank you again!!
@@minukay045 you are very welcome!! Wishing you all the best. Yes you could, as long as it’s not already taught at SOAS, there’s space on the course and you meet their requirements :) here’s some more info: www.soas.ac.uk/study/enrolment-and-registration/studying-intercollegiate-course
@@sofiaattique5048 100% it is! As explained in the video it was a society event, a society at their university which I joined. However, sometimes London universities also collaborate on events etc. I have found networking with other London university students most effective when done through company events, professional networks, LinkedIn etc. :)
Hey hope this isn’t weird but my name is india and i’ve noticed through watching your videos that i will be moving to your accom and i was wondering (again going to sound very odd) how big the kitchen drawers are ,the fridge ,the inside of the wardrobe ,if there is under bed storage and etc. as i will be there in September but am unsure of what to plan/buy for.I would love before you moved out that you did like an in depth tour as im so anxious as im not sure what to buy because idk what type of storage they have if not that’s fine it’s an odd request ik😭Anyways i love your videos and they have made me low-key exited to study at soas and given me insight on what my life may look like in a month, again so sorry if this is weird and thanks sm xx
@@palomadc9178 hey! it’s great to hear this! I’ve already moved out but you’ll be glad to hear that I filmed a full tour of my accom. I’ve been wanting to post this vid but I’ve been so busy. It’s honestly the next video on the list so watch out and I will make sure that I explain all of those size details. The place is massive. I was even told that I slightly overpacked compared to others lol🤭 but I fit everything in! Unfortunately I seem to have lost all my moving in footage but I do have a moving out vlog coming out too! You’re in good hands :)
@@fitdfat9849 hey! I don’t think there is an interview? I did not have to do one at least. If so, it would usually be about your application, course and future however I really don’t think there is one :)
Hi, hope u good, great video I’m currently stressing about my upcoming results. I wanted to ask you did you feel like you did bad or not as good in any of your a level exams but ended up getting amazing results? Is this normal/ part of the process? Thanks
@@Mandurance Hey, great question! It honestly often is the case. For me it was Politics, English paper 1 and my EPQ. Although, trust the process. Often when you stress, it’s a good sign. You care! That was me during GCSEs, but overtime you start to stress less because you realise that it’s not worth it. You have done all that you could have done already. You should be proud of that! :)
Hello, I want to ask you. I want to study in London, but through sponsorship. I want to study psychology at university. Do I have any information or so? Can you tell me? Thank you.
