Oh my! I turned 80 this year … 80 is a good and do-able temp … but I’ll be in for it if this tendency ‘takes’. In AZ average temp right now is triple digits .. lucky for me I can stay in and stitch until mid September.
What is the name of the Michael Miller knitting themed fabric? I can’t find it on your website. Do you have fat quarter or half yard bundles of this line?
The center is a pentagon - 5 sides. A hexagon has 6 sides! The side of a hexie measures half the point to point through the center - 1” side is 2” from point to point! And so on! I’ve been working on a 3/4” hexie project for years😁😁😁. And thanks for the hint about the 80wt - it’s more difficult to find where I live but I do have a shop about 50 miles away that does have it.
I agree with you. Sewing clothing is totally different. I really like the kitty Christmas quilt kit. You and Peter are doing a great job. You guys need to show some of the shop models you make with the new items.
And that girl zooms from one spot to the next like a pro! Clothes are fast to sew. The most time consuming part is cutting out the paper pieces and pining them together.
Making Berties Year into a full quilt will be striking! My husband says wool appliqué reminds him of the felt storyboards from Sunday school and isn't a huge fan of the appearance, but he's okay with the small projects and likes that I enjoy making them. I'm ready to stitch the strawberries. They're so bold and vibrant on the dark background.
Capi loves her machine. I also have a machine with out a free arm and it wasn't a problem to sew cuffs and a collar as well as flat felled seams on the sleeve without a free arm.
@@alwaysinstitches5388 .. thank you! This is a fantastic machine .. maybe too much machine for me … I’ll be thinking about it if/when I decide to replace my current machine. I’m 80 so it’s time to think about downsizing … 🧵
I love Marley … I don’t crochet, but would stitch him with fabric … he would be made with black and tan and his name would be Dusty .. named for my best boy .. my Airedale! 🐶
As always I just love you two together! You make my day and always make me laugh! So fun and beautiful creations today. Good luck with your ham radio project Peter! Mill Hill never disappoints with their newest designs. Such a great video! Shirley
This young lady is so uplifting and is a great addition to the channel. Thanks for the TILDA review of her new lines. I live in Texas and I have as a number one on my wishlist to visit your amazing shop!
This is one of the best shops I have ever visited, and I have been cross stitch shop shopping for many years. I visited for the very first time a few weeks ago and everyone was super helpful, what a Blessing! Also, this is one of the funniest tutorial videos I have come across; it really helps to see what next cross stitch project is waiting for me and the humor you two have, whether intentional or not is Super.
Thank you so much for your beautiful words. We don't plan anything. We just turn on the camera and see what happens. We are happy to hear that you were able to visit the shop a few weeks ago and had a nice visit.
Love all these patterns, but I’m ALL OVER THE 🐳!!! I’m going to have to make one of every kind! I love the patchwork whale! So cute!!! Thanks for sharing such a fun video Maggie and Peter!❤
Thank you! Please consider making a Whale mobile! I envision one with all different sizes and colors of fabrics. I bet if you put a zipper in one you could have a Whale needle case.
😂😂 You two!! Virginia's peaches! 😂 You even had my husband laughing at that story! Best of luck with the Ham radio, Peter. My husband's grandfather was licensed years ago when he was in Alaska. We seem to have more wasps and yellow jackets around here than sweet bumble bees. Peter's poor doggie! I'm sure that was painful. Good to see what's new in the shop and what you're up to, Lyneen!
Hi, thank you! Your grandfather in law would of been a DX contact for the lower 48 states. I just learned that the other day. My clover is dried up from the heat. My tomato turned from green to yellow orange yesterday. I thought about picking it and putting it in the window to fully ripen. I am so excited about my tomato babies.
That's amazing how quickly your tomatoes are ripening. Do you like fried green tomatoes? It's unknown when Grampa started Ham radoing, but even Anchorage was so remote in the 60s.
Great review. The can yarn would make a nice gift or a nice learning project for a beginner. Nice to see you both and try to keep cool this summer. It's the hottest summer on record, so I hear.
Indiana and heat that’s normal … hot as double ‘hockey stitches’ !!!! Our family reunion in southern Indiana is always the 4th July weekend ish. PNPS is a top notch magazine. Don’t you love the sound of the pop when needle goes through the Congress cloth❤❤
Thank you for giving us a tour of the trunk show, Maggie and Peter. This fabric line is so pretty and I can't wrap my head around the exquisite quilting done on the pillows and quilts. That was done by a true artist!!
LOL!! She is so cute and I would love to call her family, but alas, I am only her co worker. All of the staff at AIS is family though - and our customers too!!!
