Coming in with fallacies rather than arguments, where is the evidence that Africa cannot handle its own protections better than international organizations. Where is the evidence that international organizations solve problems better than Africa. Simplifying the whole argument made by the opponents is not disproving it. rather they should have disproved each aspect one by one, rather than going with it's absurd those are emotional pleas not arguments Versus 2nd speaker from Alliance comes in strongly with case studies, as the kids say "receipts". Very very strong argument it completely destroyed their opponents strongest point. Third quarter Lady From Juja Prep with case studies in Kenya. Nice presentation of facts. First point examples of insecurity. Second point of needing international support to solve issues. Then she gave examples of African countries that have needed support intervention and mediation from western countries. Her last point was lets Talk about African countries not others. Her arguments had inductive reasoning, observations stated clearly and the reasonable conclusion from those observations. She evaluated and her case studies and presented her arguments. She then attempted to refute the opponents argument with a very simple argument and concise "we are talking about Africa not another continent". I think having her go last was Juja prep's secret weapon. Versus The last speaker from Alliance the opening was ✨elegant ✨. Rebbutal king😅 Was he giving a lecture or a sermon eish! He took apart those arguments made by the propposers one by one calling them by name😂 that was very cheeky. He gave an analogy "how do you borrow sugar from a neighbor who doesn't have sugar" His arguments were so deductive " every country/continent makes mistakes, what matters is how we deal with them" he never once restated the argument he just explained using deductive reasoning why his arguments were superior. His concluding statement was wrapping around to his proposing statement that to me was a KO Last quarter Closing statements from Juja Prep was weak. 1.straw man fallacy- over simplifying what his opponents said. 2.equivocacy and red herring- he introduced the idea of Africa prospering and tied it directly to foreign intervention the two are not mutually exclusive. They should have used secret weapon number 3 to provide a nice deductive statement. To conclude.
