Great Kei Fishing is here to display the angling exploits of the Great Kei Adventures team, friends and guests on guided fishing tours.
Our aim is to take our viewers along on the adventure with most of our fishing taking place in the Kei Mouth area/Morgan Bay area and the Transkei with occasional expeditions to other parts of the country. We'll be showing you not only the fish that we're catching but also some tips and tricks that make it possible.

They all got their chance to pose with their fish and got a good picture. As we were releasing the fish and had limited hands available we couldn't really waste time to get all angles with each different camera.
Hi there. Thanks for the comment. The fishing in August can be very good. Lots of reef species around and the back of the sardine run. It all depends on how the weather plays out though as there can be heavy winter swell at that time of year. The edible fishing tends to be pretty solid while the non eds come good in flatter sea conditions if that happens.

Unfortunately, i did not include her photo in the video but everyone who caught a fish had a photo taken as well, so no loss there. also, she is not a frequent fisherman and only joined us for this half day tour. thank you so much for watching our video as im so glad it keeps you entertained. we wish to give you more content to enjoy.

Bumped into two guys yesterday that work for you at that first raggie spot, remember the one guy's name was Mike. Got 4 puffies, then moved to bigger baits and got one of those big transkei lesser sandies.
Epic stuff guys🤙👊 my favourite type of fishing and favourite species to target💯 my dream is to fish down there with ull since we dont get poensies from the rocks here in Durban just the bronze bream and white mussel crakker but not as prolific as there, you guys are blessed👍
