I bought "displayport reduce" (I hope It is called like that in english) - becouse in my graphic card there is only one HDMI port and one displayport. I put it in displayport and then put in it HDMI cabel from tablet. Now it works as second monitor. ;) @@Hazelfried
The screen on my laptop doesn't work and the tablet is currently acting as an extended monitor but I need it to duplicate. Can I do that on the tablet itself?
I've got the displays and everything working, but the pen won't work on the tablet ClipStudio screen, it will only show mouse motion on the desktop screen?
It sounds like your screen settings are set to "mirror" instead of "extend this display." You need to find your screen settings on your PC and change your 2nd screen to "extend this display" which is shown at 1:30 in this video.
@@bscteachinglearningcenter It is extended and it enables to use Xp-Pen tablet as another monitor, but when you try to draw something, it places mouse from stylus on your laptop screen, not on tablet
Im using 1 display port for main monitor and HDMI for my second. I do have another HDMI 2.0 port though, wondering if I could make this work with the tabled?
You might have to look into a cable converter. I don't personally know if there is such a thing as an HDMI-to-HDMI 2.0, but it might be worth looking into.
@@bscteachinglearningcenter With a little tinkering, I now successfully have a 3-monitor setup lol. It’s very convenient and the Xp Pen is pretty good actually to use as a third monitor. Better quality than I thought it would be.
I've never used an app for sketching/drawing people, but a few apps that I know of with the ability to sketch and draw are Photoshop, Gimp, Affinity Photo, etc.
Hi Laderia, once your XP-Pen is completely connected and working, you'll need to open an app that has drawing capabilities and drag it to the screen of your XP-Pen. This means you'll need to already have something link Photoshop, Gimp, Affinity Photo, etc installed on your computer.
We found that this was happening to instructors that haven't completely connected the cords to their computer as well as to an outlet. Check out our video "Setting Up and XP Pen What's in the Box and how to connect the cords" (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dqDdI29ctdM.html) and let me know how it goes.
Once your XP Pen is working, you'll need a drawing application like Gimp, Photoshop, Kritta, etc to start drawing. The XP Pen only functions like an additional screen (with stylus capabilities) and does not come with apps for drawing.
You need to find a stylus that is compatible with your tablet by researching your tablet's specifications. The XP-Pen stylus was only built to be compatible with the XP-Pen display.
I'm confused, I plugged everything in and its all set up but whenever I open up something on my drawing tablet it only appears on the monitor and my drawing tablet is just stuck at the home screen. What do I do???
It sounds like you need to click and drag your drawing app from your monitor to your XP-Pen display. This will only work if the drawing tablet has been set up to extend the display of your PC.
hello im running my xp pen on a PC but it has no signal for the display to show but it still works as i can draw on it but i wanna be able to see what im doing any help i tried everything

Thank you for catching that, Shannon! It's just that the biggest reason we've found for a PC not being able to detect an XP Pen is due to the XP Pen not being properly connected, or the computer's settings need to be adjusted (which can be viewed at ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dNwPh2Yt7_A.html) . If there are issues beyond that, It's best to contact XP-Pen customer service.

@@bscteachinglearningcenter Ok so I figured it our. The HDMI port doesn't have enough capacity to display things. I needed to have a Display Port since those are the only things capable to make the tablet recognized as a Display
Here's my issue: My computer can't detect the second display (being my drawing Tablet), after I completed the drivers installation and restart my computer.

@@bscteachinglearningcenter Damn i had forgotten about this comment lol, thanks for responding tho. You were right, i had put all the cables correctly.
Why my xp pen artist 12 pro drivers keeps telling me that I need to connect the device when it's connected? I have move the cables a lot, I have re installed and uninstall the driver a million times and nothing seems to work
Maybe you accidentally put the wrong cable in the usb cord that happened to me too. You should connect the pure black cable one with the tag to the usb cord. Hope this was helpful sorry if I worded it out wrong
@@theartisticpaperbag6247 na, I connected they way it was supposed to. The techs on XP pen told me that the issue seems to be the interface of the tablet that wasn't working
@@Surpriceone1 the techs from XP Pen told me that apparently the issue lies in the USB Port in the tablet, because everything was connected correctly and it didn't work. We try everything they told me and nothing works, so the problem lies on the USB port of the tablet.
You need to make sure the tablet is connected to both your computer and also an outlet for a power source. Are you connected to an outlet and still having this problem?

Help please, I can’t get the tablet and computer to detect that the tablet is connected. The screen projection works fine, but the pen has no response to the surface.

It doesn't necessarily matter if the "1" is smaller than the "2". The main thing is for both your computer screen and XP Pen to show at the correct scale and layout while you view them, which is what the sizes of the "1" and "2" are representing. If you find your computer screen and XP Pen are not appearing at the correct scale, click on the corresponding "1" and/or "2" in your PC settings and scroll down to the Scale and Layout setting for each screen, and change the scale as seen starting at 1:41 in the video.
Good catch that we didn't mention that! Turn on your tablet after you restart your computer so that's running when you make the changes in your computer's settings.
Hi Vanessa, the good news is that your computer is connected with your XP Pen by showing the "1" and the "2" in your computer's settings. All you need to do is click and drag the "2" to the right side of the "1".
Hello, Mrs uuhhh BSC but it still won’t show my drawing thing and I don’t know how to use this please if your reading this please help me! Thank you boba milk
Hi •boba Milk•, can you tell me a little more about what you mean by "it still won’t show my drawing thing" ? Once you clarify that, I'll be able to help diagnose the problem better.
Hi Bell, you'll need a drawing app for the XP Pen tablet to work. Compatible drawing applications include Photoshop, Affinity Photo, ArtRage, etc. XP-Pen has an article about drawing software on their site: www.storexppen.com/topic/19.html
after downloading the file from the xp pen website, does it need wifi when i install it already on my pc, like the final installment part, does it need wifi to be installed?
Hi Noreen, you'll need wifi to download the installation file, but once you have that, I don't believe you need wifi to run and complete the installation.
@@bscteachinglearningcenter I already download it. Yes, the installation file does not need any wifi anymore only the actual xp pen file. THANK U FOR YOUR ANSWER
