Hey Y’all Hey 👋🏾 .. I’m Naisha! I’ve been loving hair since I was 10 years old and decided to take it a step further and by getting my cosmetology license to help women like myself love, and nurture our hair.
I am a mommy of 2 pretty dope boys and married to my best friend.
With this channel I want to show other women way of how to take care of their hair, mind and body.
There will be some product reviews, how to juggle being a business owner and mom, but overall just sharing what I’ve learned as a women when it comes to mom life and navigating the health of natural hair.
I remember when you wanted to start doing hair back in fb days, now you have your own hair salon! I’m so proud of you 🥹 it’s been a long time, hope all is well! 🫶🏽
@@halwendosara4351 haaaa for video purposes yes. But I typically do the shower! Since it’s none of yall concerns where I wash my hair at and as long as you can relate to the message that’s all that matter bookie! Okay
Yes most African Americans especially in southern states washed their children’s hair in the kitchen because the sinks were bigger and this was a time before showers so it was easier for bending. Also my great grandmother washed hair for not only her family but neighbors as well. Of course the kitchen sink was clean as a whistle. And she made food from scratch no package foods or Popeyes. Breads, cakes, pies all meats and sides like mac and cheese from scratch and sold some too!
I feel the same way. I relaxed after being natural for 10 years. I had always had relaxed hair as a child and decided to go natural in college after my friend dared me to. I relaxed my hair a month before my wedding; now 5 months later I realize that I want to go back natural. There are pros and cons to both, but like you said , “I could have just retwisted my hair” 😩😂. Luckily I have a short bob so transitioning shouldn’t take that long. I know when I tell my husband he’s going to roll his eyes because he’s going to be like “so what was the reason?”. I’ve been wanting to get back on my fitness journey and I sweat heavily and the thought of my hair has been deterring me from wanting to do so.
