I know this is an "on paper" thing, but why are both new kits down on torque compared to the old Phase 2 Roush kits? I have on on my 2019 GTCS and it seems odd that the old Gen3 would make 670 lb*ft, compared to the new Gen4 only making 630. I'd be interested to learn why.
What breaks not much. Trans should be good, axles should be good, drive shaft should be good etc Now the life of all the components is very dependent on how you drive it lol Especially with hard launches, sticky tires etc.
Thats just what they did when the fight happened after the '79 Daytona 500 race. They fined the drivers then used it for promiting the sport. Nascar is a joke, thats the reason i dont watch it anymore. And theyre getting worse
Lots of factors. The start of it was the Chase. A lot of fans didnt want the chase, and it lead to the worst possible outcome. One driver who had a lot of his best tracks in the chase timeframe won 5 straight championships. It also made it so that you could have the best season up until those 10 races started, and one blown motor, or crash that wasnt your fault ended your chances of a championship. I get the chase/playoffs format may cause a little more exciting racing, but it can totally ruin a great season, a sport like nascar is not designed for playoffs. Now its even worse, you could theoretically win the first 35 races of the year, finish second in the championship race and lose the championship, makes zero sense. The COT alienated a lot of people. I think another big factor people dont talk about is just NASCARS overall inconsistency, calling penalties when they feel like it and not at other times, phantom cautions to close the field up, changing the rules whenever they feel like it, etc. Thats always been one of my biggest gripes. Another one i think doesnt get talked about much but is big is start times. Nascar used to have standardized start times, 1 PM for east coast races, 3pm for mid/west coast and 7pm for night races, except coke 600. They decided they wanted to cater more to the west coast so now everything starts later which for east coast people now makes the race right in the middle of the day through dinner time which is when youre trying to get stuff done around the house. Then they added the stage racing, took away horsepower, and took away practice time. Practice was huge, you could unload a car on friday that was terrible, and have it as a top 5 car after practice, now its basically whatever you unload with you have a few things to make it better but usually if you unload junk youre junk and if you unload good youre good. Also makes it harder for younger drivers to get up to speed. Next Gen car killed another wave, when you have a car where the leader struggles to pass lap cars because of aero, its an issue. There are a lot of smaller things through the years, moving race weekends like daytona night race away from 4th of July, itc, lucky dog/wave around, but dont think those had as much impact as some of the others. Kyle is spot on, I used to clear my schedule for saturdays/sundays whenever the cup race was on so i could watch religiously, or taped it, or listened to MRN, once Gordon retired i still follow Chase and Byron, but it doesnt bother me in the slightest to not see a race, havent gone to a race in person since 2018, and even if im home its on and off for updates until the last 15-20 laps.
I am not ready for electric race cars to take the racetrack to be on race tracks because he does. It just doesn’t seem like Nabi NASCAR anymore if they go electric like where you can’t hear the vibrations like the engines revving revving on the race cars so I’m not ready for electric race cars yet.
my wife and I are team fans for nascar. we root for all 4 teams, but have 2 favorites between us. the BS of the points system through the jimmy tittle years shoved us out. now just casual fans
That’ll be good no more drivers to worry about with the EV. You can run around the track and I’ll take it all the variables and go faster than a human, and have a better chance of not reckon which is probably the best way to go because who the hell watches NASCAR anymore anyway you Damn sure not me Daytona‘s average will probably be somewhere around 225 mph
No explanation is necessary. It was an accident on a crappy track under worse conditions. The retaliation, however, was planned, calculated, and unacceptable.
Bro I’ve been watching nascar seince I was 3 they go to OG then they go to next gen 🤢now this are u kidding me if nascar does this I’m done 😭😭😭💀💀💀💀✌🏻✌🏻
See exactly even alex understands that bubba has a right to be mad i may not like bubba but he should not have gotten fined 50 whole thousand dollars for retaliation because isnt nascar the sport of rivalry and action but no when that does happen NASCAR’s mad
@@Jordan-et6vu This is not the NASCAR of 25 years ago. They have declined strongly. And yes Bubba’s fine was warranted. He had a longtime to get over the accident with Bowman. He chose to retaliate. It’s wasn’t a congratulatory door bump.
No apology needed. Most of us are appreciative and proud of you. Please remember……. rubbin is racin, accidents happen. You said your piece so please don’t humble yourself to Bubby. He ain’t nobody.
Yeah for good reason. Exactly. The difference is, Kyle knows he can run you back down so he’ll race you clean…you know it’s your only shot so you get desperate and overdrive it..we know..thanks for finally admitting what everyone already knew.
Hell, I think he was the best day ever he wind up 13th is generally 20 second. He’s always hating everybody. How come he just can’t get out there and race quit blaming it on the other drivers. He’s got road rage
Bubble pretty much wrecks in every race and if somebody else’s fault always if he wouldn’t back in 2 second spot where all the damn crowd is, he might do better. He is great at qualifying and practice. Maybe they should let him race by his self
Who hasn't been into it with bubbles, wish that mf would find a new home I can assure you nothing is ever bubbles fault 😢 regardless of Alex bowmans bad decision, ashamed of Nascar and what it has become caters to woke culture and stomped on the people who made it what is sad times we live. They ought to call it the bubbles Wallace drama show instead of Nascar, he's in the news every week.
