Methheads,pill addicted morans,homeless people as far as the eye can see and largely do to the drug epidemic,and the ones who aren't drug addicted are drunks but that could be said for most of america. Sadly this will only get worse with the open borders as im fairly certain the drugs are flowing freely.

Again, the second camp is more rotten, with rags and ugly soiled towels left behind. and trash. What? couldn't take the time to bury it? Not good people! Could be an illegal that was camping out to try to find jobs or cross over to a better town or area?

maybe its not totally abandoned. I mean, some good reading books are left behind along with a plastic container bucket of water. DVDs and a license plate. and a tarp which was probably used to cover the small vehicle which used to be parked there with a tent. could be a small time drug runner's camp. on negative side, never understood why homeless people leave trash behind. If it wasn't because of the trash they leave behind, societ and certain communities might not be so hostile to homeless people living near them. and man, a lot of homeless people use drugs and leave beer bottles behind. These usually aren't good people. BUT...this guy has DVDS of Italian Opera. that...that is a good sign.
Next door is stelmacki's Market which used to be right next door to us at 23rd and Montgomery in the early 1960s. Like everyone and everything else it got the hell out of that area. I was sure that old hotel would have been demolished by now. Maybe it is since this video is 2 years old.😢

NOW I'm not opposed to Hispanic labor in large cities working paying tax and building a future what i do not like is business paying these people less then min wedge and or a not fair wedge taking advantage of them. I think anyone who enters Should have to be issued a green card to work and paid the going rate, business should not benefit from this and if they hire without proof someone has a green card they forfeit the company. The IRS takes it. No court date no trial total loss. And the business can not get a business license in any state for anything.
I WORKED in the west bottoms when that factory was making wire wheels knock off of Dayton's True wire wheels They always had a staff of illegals Working in the factory. Immigration or now called Ice would show up and most the factory would scatter, you would think it was quiting time. BOYD Cotting Jr bought out the company and moved it to the east side of kansas city near truman sports complex I worked at a machine shop We sold part of our equipment to weld before it was bought out.
Great video. I'm visiting Kansas City this weekend and went to see that building yesterday. Locals said it was set to be demo'd this morning between 7-8am.
Proper sad what's going on over there, it just needs to stop, doesn't matter who is to blame, it's beyond that now, they all need to call it Quits, it's gone on long enough.

I did have a cold one after filming this video at one of those beach cafes actually...turns out I wasn't supposed to do that because of the war...I guess Ukraine wants their citizens alert and not hazy lazy during these strange times. So I learned to keep those drinks hidden (hold them low and out of sight). lest you be questioned and have your passport checked by a Ukrainian soldier.
I was surprised by the monument of the statue with a hood and a noose. In America the people who don't have to work for a living would be protesting. I'll bet they have some good brews there though.
East St Louis doesn’t look like this. These pictures were taken 14yr ago. East Saint Louis is rebuilding the city and is continuing doing so. New construction is being built land has been developed. I live in East Boogie ❤
