Wait a sec here: • A guy on the brink of success dies unexpectedly and ends up in limbo • He comes across a troublemaker who's been there for a long time and teams up for him to get back. • Troublemaker ends up getting sent back instead and into the guy's body. • Guy trys to get his body back before the event of his achievement. Does that sound like the plot of a certain recently released Pixar movie?
This is a beautiful film! This is the film that affirmed my immense love and appreciation for Nicole Kidman. Kidman’s performance in this one is impeccable. The soundtrack is so haunting too. I saw the film when I was probably 13 or 14 and couldn’t stop thinking about it for a few weeks! A Masterpiece!
I was 3 when this came out and me and my brother got it at the library on video in maybe 2005 , great film for kids , films aren’t fun like this anymore ! Just good fun and good vibes
Such a great underrated, misunderstood, and unappreciated masterpiece of a film! This year will be its 20th anniversary since its release. I hope Criterion or something will give it the proper Blu-ray treatment it deserves.
The Animal, I remember that, in all the bad Sandler catalog it's easy to forget but still, man the crap storm that Sandler & Co had going on... It started off great but once they found out they can pump these cheap crappy movies out they only got worse. That's how we got Jack & Jill and Zoomers. Luckily, Norm was the good thing that came out of and carried the Sandler movies on his back, at the least the good humor. R.I.P Norm.
This nightmare fuel fever dream movie is the precursor to the fear of the back rooms of being stuck in some limbo place all alone for eternity. Also the SpongeBob deep trench episode but it was tame compared to this movie.
Finally. I remember watching this as a toddler in a theater and it came back to my obscure memory from time to time but i never learned the title until now.
