I detail cars and to get a whole car finished in time I just use Car Pro Perl 1:1 in a spray bottle. That takes me 2 seconds for each tire and looks good making me money. My customers are happy with that.
I no longer have the car, but they were both gone around the 8 month mark. They did well, though. No coating will last a year unless you live in an area that doesn't get much rain fall or overnight moisture. Thanks for watching!
I do t know. I used it in the garage. I doubt it would damage the glass if you did, but it may be harder to wipe off if it dries on. Thanks for watching!
If you're only gonna get one foam cannon I'd say pick the one you like from the following: 1. MTM PF 22.2 2. MJJC Pro V2 3. Griots Garage Brilliant Foam Cannon (not the Boss) 4. MJJC S V3 (might need to look for it, same head as the Pro V2, but a different bottle and connection) Those are all top perfomers. There are different advantages to all of them. The MTM is nice cause you can buy additional bottles and bottle caps, so you can have premixed solutions in various bottles, or just not waste product and cap it off for later. The negative of the MTM is the smaller bottle opening. The MJJC and the Griots Brilliant Foam Cannon both produce slightly more thick foam...maybe like 2-5% thicker than the MTM, depending on soap. The rest is bottle, value, and brand preference.
@@ClearViewSolutionsMS No problem. Mind you when I say that the MJJC and Griots produce thicker foam, that's not to say that the MTM doesn't produce shaving cream. That was the foam king until the other two came around, and it's not like you'd be disappointed if you use the MTM. It's only when you have them together side by side with something like Adam's Mega Foam, that you'll notice slightly thicker foam from the other two...slightly. Though to be honest with you while thick foam looks cool and is just a fun and pleasant experience spraying it, I think it actually has slightly less actual cleaning power than a more runny foam. If you think about it, a lot of that thick foam just sits on itself, rather than making contact with the car panel, so the PIR (Panel Impact Ratio) is actually lower per same dose of soap mix, than it if it was more runny and more of the soap actually makes contact and pulls the dirt down as it flows down. If you're just using it as a pre-wash, have fun with thick suds, but if you're going for a touchless wash, you'd get more dwell time at higher PIR with a slightly runnier foam application. I really recommend either Bilt Hamber Touch-Less or Auto Foam, those two will actually pull serious dirt and grime off just from a foam and rinse application. Cheers!
Does the 3D One finish nicely with the uro fiber pad, especially on that black paint, or does it need to be followed with more of a finishing pad or polish?
The 3D One finished nicely. All the others finished nicely as well. If you want it to go from great and chase perfection, then you could go over with a dedicated polish and polishing pads. Also, put some protection on it. I used 3D Speed for a last just to add a little more gloss and a little protection. Thanks for watching!
Really appreciate the review! We're super glad you're liking our products! Looks like she turned out fantastic! Really enjoyed the video! Keep 'em coming!
The coating is good there some minor improvements needed. However I love the look it gives and the slickness. 1 thing that needs improved is flash very hard to see especially for us guys that may not have the greatest of lights. So far so good on my Mazda 3 it’s holding up. I am coming up on my 6 month. Wash.
Good to hear. I didn't have much of an issue seeing it flash. I was surprised with how fast it flashed considering the temperature. I was also surprised at how easy it was to wipe away/ level. Thanks for watching! I appreciate it!
Just changed front pads on my car 3 Weeks ago. I put Ceramic Car Quest Platinum Professional pads from Advance Auto on. I had my rotors turned also. Back brakes are still factory pads which are simi metallic. Hardly no dust. Even with the original pads on the front before I changed to these ceramic pads I never saw hardly any brake dust. Must be something different about how they are being made. Never had this problem in the past using ceramic pads. I would like to know too.
Hey CVS MS, great job on your truck!! That thing is beautiful! Question for you Sir. How does the Apex Detail Metal Oxide perform compared to Carpro Cquartz UK 3.0? Thanks
In the long round it looks to hold up better and the gloss seems to last. Almost 2 years later and it's still very glossy. The only issue is Apex went a different direction for their current coatings. This coating is available through Artdeshine pretty cheap because it's on clearance. Thanks for watching!
@@ClearViewSolutionsMS thanks for your response. The reason I asked about the comparison is I have an unopened 50ml bottle of ADMO that I haven’t used yet. CQUK 3.0 and Gyeon Mohs Evo are my go tos. Been using CQUK 3.0 for 4 years with great results. Gonna have to break open the ADMO very soon.
You are NOT crazy. I've tried different brands ceramic pads and they ALL put out dusk just like the other non ceramic pads! Think it's a marketing deal and NOT fact. Asshats.
Love what you did here. I think you should do a 50/50 for your own experience. Left side pre rinse. Right side straight to foam. If you had done a contact wash on top of the first foam id agree to do a pre rinse for the bigger chunks of dirt. You should get a better clean from the first foam if it goes straight onto the dry paint since you are going to rinse it completely anyways before the contact wash. If you inspect the paint and see that the pre rinsed side is equally or less clean than the straight to foam side. That just saved you a few more mins on your truck wash to enjoy other things.
This might sound like a really stupid question but can no one just invert the block and drop the cam in from the top slowly without all that rattling against the cam lobes? Just outside the box looking in since the block is on a stand it wouldn't be that much effort to sit on the ground and stand it up and drop the cam in from the top
You probably could sit the back of the block done on a surface with the front facing up like that, but I don't have the ability to. Those cam bearings are solid and the Lucas lube is awesome. The viscosity is thick to help prevent damage like that. Thanks for watching. 💪
Ahe was only 10 in this video, so let's hope not. I'm not sure about the drying towel. I'll need to go back and watch the video when I get a few minutes.
I had same result. Gyeon was had better durability, but my whipers were jumping hard. CarPro less durability, but no issues with whipers. Over all great test. Greetings form Europe, Slovakia.
In MS. I don't know of it was CarMax as much it was the person that sold it to CarMax or the auction that had it. It was sketchy and I found more stuff after cleaning it. It had work done on the front and back for sure.
In my day, if you didn't show up for practice, you don't play that week. You get benched. No questions... after a few weeks, they either quit or they showed up to every one. Cheers.
