Eddie Kendrek hand pick Damon to replace him for the Temptation. Dennis Edwards said Damon would travel with Eddie Kendrek when Eddie voice was going from Lung Cancer. Damon Harris Voice was so Awesome. I Love Eddie and Damon vocals were Simply Awesome , Pure Talent.
The guys sound so good and Damon hasnt lost a step with his voice, even fighting the prostate cancer that eventuallu took his life.. Baltimore's pride and joy
Love Damon Harris!! He was battling Prostate Cancer since 97. He beat Prostate Cancer, then was informed that the Cancer had mestastisized to his Spine. Everyone on this post is complaining about him gaining weight. Well, he was fighting a very serious illness.
Precious Baby Doll, Of course, Damon Harris had gain weight. He was sick, receiving kemo and other cancer treatments. Kemo increases weight in people. I don't care how much weight Damon gained, I still loved him then, now, and will always. Plus, he was born here, raised here, after leaving the tempts, he came here back home, he died here, and is buried here. His family said that Damon always talked about going back home, no matter where he was, and that he proudly would tell everyone that he was a Baltimorean whenever he got the chance to do so. We welcome Damon Harris back home for eternity.
Tracie the weight came from him battling his illness...He was still battling during this Concert!. I used to email him a lot personally.I really miss him!

Hello, we were in Montreux, Switzerland, at the home of the Montreux Jazz Festival. The event was televised for 3 days and showcased both local and international recording artists. George Duke and The Funkadelic's also delivered performances during that weekend. This band from Detroit was created after my involvement in the album "Float On" by The Floaters. I established The Floaters Orchestra, later known as T. F. O., which supported various Motown and Old School groups. The band remains active to this day, now led by drummer Ronnie Nelson. I am the bass player, Freddie Guy Hutson. Let's just say that I am head of the gospel rendition of T. F. O. Ron and I frequently perform together.
