Hi! I’m Alan. On my channel, you will find more about IT that you can use for some project to start with your NAS server. Also, how to create your media server.
We will use computers and Raspberry Pi. With those, step by step you are going to get an expected system to cover all your needs.
Thanks for showing us this. Please, keep making videos on this topic. Becuase I would like to learn how to use Synology on a cheaper PC, because I am student and can't afford it. Then, I'd like to put it on my resume, because my job at work has Synology systems. And, I would like to move into another career field.
just after I install OMV and reboot rasp, I can't access OMV in the web browser even if I enter the ip address indicated in my router for the raspberry. does someone have any lead please?
Hi Alan, I followed this video with interest since I am trying to add the Sonoff Zigbee Bridge Pro to Home Assistant (SonoffLAN is installed and running for a long time). So I add the bridge and a motion sensor succesfully to eWeLink but neither the bridge nor the sensor show up in Home Assistant, even after a restart. Do you know if this is because I am using the Pro bridge and it is not supported in SonoffLAN?
Hi Sauber, could you please check the link in description? I tried to open it and I couldn´t. or could you please add the script in the video description? I`m trying to install OMV in my new RB pi 5. thanks in advance! greetings from Argentina.
Great video. Thanks. I did install directly to my Linux server. But, prowlarr does. Or show any indexers available to add! Why is that and how to fix it? Didn’t find any documentation helping. Thanks.
Great tutorial and very thorough. One place I made a big mistake in was when writing the image to the zvol. I didnt realize that it was mandatory to write /dev/zvol and I was just copying and pasting the path in the dataset section. Everytime I booted my VM it would just go to the UFEI shell command and I thought I had done everything right. Don't forget to put the /dev/zvol before the path to your dataset and save yourself some headache.
i don't have a windows, i tried install windows into a mac from 2011 haha, but need a special version, on my mac m1 windows 11 amd is not sopported, i tried with vitual machine as well but need mutipatition, i tried from the repository for command lines sh, but have problem downloading resources , using custom files, always fails, pff doesn't worth this
Octoprint is a bit outdated is it not? Klipper is the new king. I dont think i could ever do without Klipper , ive held back on buying a bambu lab for my love of klipper.
Hello , thx for this tutorial, but i'm stuck when i hit the sudo qemu command, i got this respond " qemu-img: Could not open 'haos_ova-12.2.qcow2': Could not open 'haos_ova-12.2.qcow2': No such file or directory" someone have any idea? thx again
Thank you for these OMV videos. I used it years ago and forgot how easy it was. I'm installing it in a 4 bay NAS (4x8TB) and would like to add Jellyfin to a Docker container. Can you do a video on how to do this? Keep up the great work!
