Master Crowley's is a great, mighty tune but difficult to play on banjo. Those high 'b's are a test. Great, accurate banjo playing here and you all played top level music in this video. I play Irish tenor banjo here in Australia and my fingers are like lightning. They never strike the same place twice.
Wow,,,what an oversized stage,,,such a waste of money. Whats with all the height. A bit of rain from the east and all performers get soaked. Stewpit stupid stage.
Hi Tibor, This is C#D, which is very common tuning in Ireland. BC is also very common. We also have accordions in the key of DD#. Most players start in C#D and then progress and experiment with the other systems. Thanks for your kind words and interest. Lar
I love your videos and the talent in your family is remarkable. I live in USA and just stumbled across your channel. Now I am almost persuaded to come the Fleadh Cheoil next year. LOL
Lovely duet playing The Maids Of Mt Cisco was popularised by Paddy Killoran, one of the great Sligo fiddlers The other two were Michael Coleman and James Morrison
