and if i can help it i neve eve cut in the middle of the b pillar rear window i cut 3/8 up from the belt line more structure less warpage plus it usually allows you to slip the roof down through and tack it good it gives you stucture instead of floppy slop then cut both pieces at the same time at 45 degrees tacking as you go this gives you perfect weld lines no welding rod or bondo needed with tig weldingif you happen to get any distortion planish the weld seam not metal around it

sawzall no but holy good god man get frigging recipricating saw out and if you make all you cuts on a 45 deg angle with it and cut both sides ove lapping each other at the same time you can get a perfect fit and have backing in the weld seem no rod required for tig its easy to fuze this way i use y cut off wheel mostly for detailed grinding or cut in a tight spot but other than that a cut off wheel die grinder is petty much useless

Sad to see people cutting up steel bodies. Should buy a Factory 5 body and leave the good bodies for the people that want to restore to its original state.
