I'm Andrew Keaveny and I'm originally from Woodstock/Shandaken, NY. I'm a small town guy. As a kid I wanted nothing more than to be a soldier, so at 17 I joined the Army where I thrived. However, after being young and dumb, I got myself a DWI and was relieved of my duties.
My next challenge was being on my own. I went to college, dropped out, then proceeded into the working trades. I quickly climbed the ladder and ran a large contracting corp at the age of 19. I was in charge of 5-30 men at any given time. I stayed here for 3 years before Covid hit. Which is when I quit my job and backpacked for a over a year. Here I realized I wanted to see the whole world.
I rebuilt my fathers boat for 2 years after I returned from traveling. I then acquired my current, 1975 41' Gulfstar. I'm now sailing around the world with a goal of touching 7 oceans and 7 summits.
Thanks for being here.

Looks like you came up the Saco River which is the town line for Saco and Biddeford, Maine. Camp Ellis would be on your starboard side as you entered the mouth of the river. If you got on land and drove a few miles north you could have gone to Palace Playland, amusement park right on the beach, and gone out on Old Orchard Beach pier. I hope you enjoyed your stay in Maine, I saw your video of a lobstermen gifting you fresh lobster.
Cut the strips with your plywood and fill those gaps then use your epoxy and tab in the dogder to the boat. The epoxy the entire thing and paint it! It will lookso great! Bonker mad crazy good!

Dude aren't you concerned sailing to different countries with weed residue on your boat? If the coast guard swabs the high contact areas of your boat and gets a positive result won't they just take your boat? Not trying to rain on your parade but wouldn't want to see the dream cut short over a bit of herb
Looks like that halyard chafed your jib sheet as well. Was the mooring ball what failed, or was it your line that chafed, and how did you have it connected to the ball?
the plot thickens… she’s a lucky ship with a smart captain. it would so crazy if you had the gopro rolling during the chaotic mission with the dinghy back to land. Looking forward to the updates.
