I'm Rona from RonatheRibbiter.com, the only travel blog that provides every day quilters with the tips and tools to confidently pursue their dreams and sense of adventure.
My goal is to introduce quilters and crafters to an amazing worldwide community you may otherwise never have known existed. From the history of quilting to the fabrics, inspirations, cultures and creators, I show a side of the crafting world that inspires both quilters and non-quilters alike!
Together we visit quilt shows, quilt tours, shop hop road trips and much much more! Won't you join me for a quilt adventure?
Neither. If you do not have a cover for your machine, you can carry it as is. Just make sure to take off the needle and foot and put them in the machine storage box so they don't get lost/broken.
The maximum size allowed for any carryon is 22 x 14 x 9. If your sewing machine case is bigger than that, it won't be allowed. If your machine is in the carrying case, they will measure the case, not the machine.
I thought they were Ravens when we were there but after reviewing the tape I noticed the gray beaks. Definitely not Ravens. So I looked them up. Fascinating birds those Rooks! 😁
To be honest, even as far out and remote as the Callanish stones are, if I had to choose between the two, I'd be on my way to Callanish. Such a magical place!! :D
The Festival of Quilts is the largest quilt show in the United Kingdom. It happens the first weekend of August in Birmingham, England at the National Exhibition Center (NEC).
Ohhhh bonus , you tube suggested this channel and video , so im a new sub here , but i had never heard of this designer , so i am now in her Facebook group , thank you for posting !
8 views of Big Ben. Is there a flag posted when the king is in residence at Buckingham palace. Loved the views of London and the quilt. Not sure if I would ride the Eye.
I counted 7. I enjoyed the video, as I do all of them. I really enjoyed your ornament class at SewEndipitous in Rock Hill SC. It was great meeting you, and it was “sew”much fun 😀
After I answered your "Is the King in," question, I finished watching the video and I counted 10 sightings of Big Ben. I think that was the most exciting thing for me to see when we were there. Although, the London Tower was an amazing site to see, too! I too, took a ton of pictures of Big Ben, but realized when we got home and I went through the pictures, I never took a picture of us with Big Ben, lol. That will be one of the things we will do when we return! It was an absolute dream and bucket list for me to go, and we finally did in December! We had an absolute great time!!
You know if the King is in because the flag on top of the palace will be flying. We just spent a week there in December 2023 and that still was not enough time to get everything in, lol. We will be going back to finish what we did not get to do this trip around.
So much to see and do! I'm definitely heading back for another go at some point. If for nothing else than to spend an entire day at Liberty of London. 😉
@@RonatheRibbiter We went there, but I was not impressed with it at all, lol. We walked in, walked up to the floor that has the fabric, and walked back down and out of the store. It was nothing of what we thought it would be for the fabric. But that is my own opinion. Other people may have had a different experience there.
