Oh, so that is how those caravans work. I have seen at least one drive past me on a main road. I have never seen it erected, and never wondered what it looked like. But just today I saw a photo of it erected, and couldn't understand how it got erected.
I'm seriously considering one of these but would like to see 1.) an overhead door on the back, rather than barn doors; 2.) less garish graphics; 3.) delete radio, TV and uWave; 4.) hot water heater in place of uWave. Is any of this possible?
Nice coach and presentation. Only thing, just cant understand why they didn't put a window on the forward part of the slide. This is where the couch is inside, your crash place . You wanna be able to get a clear view .....0:14
Looks interesting I have to do some more research on this trailer and floor plans. Been considering a Oliver this seems to be in the same quality range
As an architectural engineer, let's clarify a few things. #1 C channel is not as strong as square tubing. #2 fiberglass insulation (loose fill in general) is nowhere near as efficient as foam (comparable thicknesses.) Secondly, when using loose fill insulation, the installation process often leads to gaps or places where the insulation is compromised. That is clearly visible in your display. And lastly, if you are running wires in the same cavity as said insulation, we'll you just completely ruin it. Hence why spray foam is quickly becoming the gold standard in residential construction.
I have a Mountain Aire 1999 25 years old with 2 slides and same lock and gears setup as shown here and I have never had even one problem with the slides or locks. I do believe the previous owner about 10 years ago had issue with the controller on one because I found an extra one in parts but maybe not maybe it was just bought in case of failure. They may not be fast and fancy but I am very satisfied
Where are you located? Mail address, please & phone. I have this style found on my property I think! Would like to find where Vin# located. Not on hitch. It's got good bones. I am interested in restoring. Love your pin Information. Many thanks.
Very neat! Do you know the insulation R-values of the roof, floor and walls? Tried to find that information, along with construction specifications. I can't find anything on this trailer. Thanks, so much, for any help and information you can offer.
Chris, I know this is 8 months old and haven't seen you or any of the other sales people doing advertisements for Mt. Comfort (Camping World) anymore. Are you still there doing what you do best advertising and selling RVs ? Great video also. Wishing you the best, from a great full customer.
