Thank you for your comment. Yes you can definitely try that. I think what you might need a S3 bucket notification lambda which will trigger when there will be a new report in the bucket. This lambda can parse the output in correct format and send the information to sns or sqs. For your second query, you can definitely do that. The reason behind the automation is to run this type of OS commands.
I have account A that has ec2 and in account B i have s3 and amazon connect. From ec2 i can access the s3 bucket but when i do pause and resume recording it says donot have access for amazon connect. But s3 cross account is working

App Runner is a wholesome service offered by AWS. you have to configure lots of things to replace the backend you are referring to. In case you want to do it, you may then reach out to app runner endpoint from cloudfront directly
