tip- anything 12 foot and bigger probably, roll it toward yourself so your knees can be on the folded raft. it was not easy but it eventually did bend and fold.
Any of them are great, our team is split between the types! You can learn more here: rockymountainrafts.com/blogs/rmr/how-to-choose-an-inflatable-kayak.
Long time RMR supporter and own 3 RMRs (9,5', 14' and 12'). Recently bought the 12' RMR boat kit and wondered why the poly deck shown in this video has 6 holes for cams but RMR only recommends running cams through 4 of them? It seems the poly deck, at least for the 12 foot boat, as some flex and would benefit from the additional cams. Might not be an issue with the smaller decks. Great video. Thanks RMR!
Thanks for the tips. I'd like to know how you tell when the raft is fully inflated. I see you slapping it, but what are you looking for? I have a Phat Cat, so if there's anything specific to that, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!
Nice! Took my demo down 10 miles of the Conasauga River today. Will be posting video to #AquaSol page soon. Sits a tad bit low but the handling is so sweet on the creek. Great job on the design Michael! Digging it fa sho!
