Interesting. we finally attached our pickups to the wooden frame to get a good sound. (we've been playing banjo for 30 years and tried most types of pickup in that time)
Naah... Idk man.. 50 bucka for studio headphones? The cable looks cheap, the esr cover doesnt look like it gonna last. The audio output quality for 50€ cannot be proper my dear. If you know your job, then you should be able to rationally tell me why. So, how much they paid you for fake ads?
Excelente video!! justo ahora entre JULIO-AGOSTO del 2024 ANALOG OBSESSION acaba de actualizar este pedal TODO EN UNO y también el complemento: KABIN!!!
Would be cool to compare the Maserati vocal plugin vs the JST Howard Benson vocal plugin. Seems to be similar but with the Howard Benson you may have a little more control? Not sure. But, would make for a cool video 👍🏻
Ok stopped the vid to comment 1:23 to see if what I say is what you say. I have some project's that are easier to master then others and its not always about the mix, infact some project's I thought sound bad due to a bad mix where fixed on the exported marster single file so everything was in the right place in the stereo field it just needed some EQ. I'm going to say two main problems with your music not sounding correct is either 1 Fix EQ or 2 sound selection.
Can I do this on mandolin?? I have both g hooks broke off, and 1 d hook. The e and a still have the hooks and the other d, but I'm thinking i could tie the g and one d to the tailpiece
To me, all the best reverb plugins work on drums. All the not so best ones fall apart on drums. Plates are my favourite, even for drums (although I of course sometimes use a tight room too, the eventide is great for this). It's just a shame, IMO, and this is not pointed at you directly because almost ALL reverb plugin review videos do this, but I find it a shame there was not a drum test with the verb. My 2c.
Um. Your ears should NOT be shot and tired after a mix, because you shouldnt be mixing continuously that long... your ears become increasingly inaccurate with each replay. 1-3 changes at a time, with large gaps of other things and daily activities in between each alteration...otherwise you're not actually mixing, because you aren't hearing it properly to begin with. Sure, composition wise you can go and go and go, since its just part writing...but eesh...your ears should not be tired at any point during the Mixing process.
None of these "smart" plugins do anything useful for me when mixing. What I do myself is always better than what these plugins suggest. And how could it be any different. I hear music. Plugins don't hear anything. A machine will never be able to make better decisions than a human.
hm, not sure if i agree with the things you say, as plugins are not something you would compare to less paul’s, and you better compare it like a car and bicycle, and in this term, people are not that in touch with the classic as with lesspauls
Super Scooped was my nickname at University! Anyway, this is a great video. We love that you're enjoying LANDR FX Beats, we're very proud of them! All the best Jonny!
I tend to think like I believe the Beatles thought back in the early sixties. They wrote the music, they created the arrangements, they played the songs as best they could in the studio, then they handed over to the "magicians" who mixed and mastered their recordings into something that sounded good through the media of the time. The only difference is that today the "magicians" are AI services like Landr or Izotope, but the creative and musicianship at the front end remain the same.
All these ai services that master just make it sound way worse and a bit louder. Please support real mastering engineers. Also the beatles didn't really mix their stuff, it was usually made on 4 track so there wasn't much mixing to do except levels and balances, but most of the time those balances were already printed ontop of other tracks, they didn't send it to be mixed by a magician. They recorded it that way and got it right at the source. And then sent it to mastering.
@@lacikollar64 my teacher said once “use everything”. And i toke it seriously. But i am very strict with the meaning of “ALL” : there are many more things there than inside of AI. But also i don’t want absolutely everything: We want the best of everything…
