hey, actually this is the bay of martinhal, the port you can see in the back is the porto da baleeira. This is in Sagres and its extremly rare to get waves there. Things change in 35 years!!
I remember 35yrs ago finding sagres, a goat track going down under the high cliffs, and wow tide in and double over head barrels, snapped my board but had the best tube rides,plus it was empty. Portuguese pipeline secret back then. And thanks to the life guards scored the best hash to this day, got fuckin wasted.! Thanks guys I ve still got the pics of the peak on the right hand side of the beach and the shitty bike u hired me ! Respect..
