Hi I sent Hackthon a very good idea that I got some good feedback from in my country. I was waiting for the event but something happened that stopped programs around the world "Corona virus". I hope that people around the world will make this situation safely.
This is a dream come true. The world must engage in this discourse to reverse the trend of rural-urban migration by empowering villages. We believe this can be achieved through sustainable development solutions which ICT can provide. Franz Nahrada is on the right track, we must continue to work together to achieve this goal. Thank you Global Village Network for connecting us.
To strengthen rural systems it is crucial to create networks to use international telecomunication for Global Village Network. Hence it would be possible to avoid overboarding urban areas.
Spot on! Learning is at the centre of everything we do, but policy makers tend to ignore our villages. Its vital we get the connectivity we need to rejuvenate our rural areas.
You are so right, Tony....and so the return to the village is unthinkeable without the formation of a larger unit, a collaborative global mind, to which every village is connected. It is this source of inspiration and knowledge that allows us to literally bring our minds and bodies home where they belong. TED talks are a harbinger, an early sign of the global glass bead game which will relate the ephemeral to the essential. Thank you Tony for your SYNCHRONI-CITY designs - great imagination!
Thank you Franz for the clear description of GVN and reinforcing the connections between smaller communities. After all many cities started as villages which as they grew they welded together to form a larger unit... the city. It seems that the TED talks are also part of picture as they are now being held around the planet.
