Hello i have a 1994 Lincoln car that just started stalling when i pull off from lights do you think this is my problem. Thanks head of time for the response.
I just went through the same thing turn it over and nothing it ended up being the the ignition relay the prongs was bent so hit hit sometimes and others it didn't.i had to get the gray base off the fuse box under the hood then I bent the prongs plugged the relay in bam we got action
Same issue. 2010 Ford Edge. I even have the same Autel. Same result when using the signal wire test on Autel. Which wire goes to which wire on the ignition switch? Can't really tell from the video.
Juan, ojalá aplicaran el "NASTF" para las armas así como para los escáners. Preocupado por el robo de autos pero no por los asesinatos jajajaja. Ambas cosas ilegales pero el gobierno no hace nada.
Thanks man. Im working on my car and learning along the way. We chase it to the relays and I suspected water causing damage and the seats in the at the base hold water after it rains. Lots of work to do.
I NEED HELP. 2012 FORD FUSION 3.0 WITH NO COMM, NO CRANK, NO START. THE PCM RELAY IS NOT WAKING UP. IF I GIVE GROUND TO THE PCM RELAY, THE CAR PCM WAKES UP. I BELIEVE IT IS NOT RECEIVING AN IGNITION SIGNAL? ANY IDEAS? PLEASE HELP THANK YOU IN ADVANCE. IN SEEK OF A REAL WIRING DIAGRAM. IT SUCKS NO KNOWING FOR SURE IF YOUR CHASING YOUR TAIL. I BELIEVE IVE CHECKED ALL THE POWERS AND GROUNDS. BUT I HAVE TO BE MISSING SOMETHING LOL.
By chance. Do you have the voltage and resistance spec for the wiring harness? I’m doing this job on a sonic and can’t find any free info. I would appreciate it
Costs to have a locksmith license in Texas, which is required for VSP credentials: 1 million dollars Insurance coverage ( it costs far more than 80 bucks a month), 3 years locksmithing apprenticeship, or 40 hours locksmith class followed by 600 hour locksmithing course, plus 1 year working as a locksmith. In addition to learning about automotive keys, you need to learn about commercial alarms, deadbolts, commerical access, safes, etc, which is nothing related to automotive IMMO, or programming auto computers. You need to go to class 40 hours a week for 15 weeks plus work as a locksmith for 1 year, just to qualify to get a locksmith license. Yes, I looked it up.
I am in Indiana and we don't have that issue here. How the saying goes "get it done". I mean it common sense this was about to happen with all the car theft that been going on, it was just matter of time.
I'm selling my Auto KM100 because of all these new burdensome regulations. What you're suggesting is to put extra burdens on law-abiding citizens because of the actions of criminals.
Yes cause this isn't the first attempt to fix this issue. People don't want to help and now these is going on. I rather have these than the government really put there finger into these situation
Nastf can kiss my a$$. Its just there to bleed more money from the mechanics. You know who is really going to pay? The consumer, when they can't afford to pay then guess what the mechanic can't make money then your out of business.
We always stay busy and been on NASTF. Maybe you have to charge accordingly. Any of my key programmers are 899 plus a year each. Way more expensive than NASTF, my price haven't went up at all there isn't any difference it's 279 for 2 years not expensive for a legit business
Well, not everybody can get VSP as far as I know! I believe that applicants have to own a business with $1,000,000 commercial liability insurance. Or applicants must be employees at an auto repair facility with with insurance that meets the requirements. If individuals such as mobile mechanics with no such an insurance were allowed to apply, It would be awesome because I would like to apply to use a key programmer like Autel IM 608 Pro II.
I am a mobile business and have a shop. I had insurance when I started mobile before I had the building. I have a insurance for the key side of the business and another for the shop and mobile diagnostic. Cost of doing business plain and simple
@@juansautodiagnostic6199 it reminds me of big government we dont need it! It really doesnt affect me because im an engine builder, but if i wanted to use my scanner ive got thousands of dollars in to add a key to a car i paid thosands of dollars for shouldnt have that right its my car! I have the tools and knowledge to do this task but people like you are telling me its a great thing to a pay some car something another group hundreds of dollars a year to get shaken down for me to do this or pay a locksmith hundreds of dollars to do this task for me because they are being shaken down! Sounds like some plan orchestrated by democrats to get money and tell me the border is secure and that Joe Biden is coherent for me to plainlymsee its all BS! We just want to be free and keep our money!
@joesmo4749 I am republican so it doesn't have anything to do about politics. It's cost 899 a year for the im608 update so 🤷. Cost of doing business and making it more sure about what we doing is correct and not some thug making keys without verifying ownership of the vehicle. People have got shot for these tools so if it makes it harder for them to get there hands on one great I am up for it.
@@juansautodiagnostic6199If someone buy an impact tool to steal your truck's tires, what would you think? Would it be illegally? The thing is government don't catch the thieves.
The only tools that will have this are the manufacturers sucking at the nastf tit to buy pids and service functions . The china tools and the guys that reverse engineer around the factory won't. Its voluntarily. Now going forwRd new algorithms and more online programming may force compliance to get access to that part. However at that point most will just release a new model and leave the legacy stuff alone
Ya I don't think that will occur, NASTF is the same reason why we have right to repair and able to have the access to service information and equipment
Keep in mind the license is not to keep the scammers out of the industry. Its to insure another beuracracy is formed, and they will only regulate those who don't pay their fees.
@coreyh7323 it will help stop them to a point. The ones that are smart enough don't need to buy a tool off ebay or Amazon to steal a vehicle. That the issue, we are getting more theft cause anyone can buy one of these tools. Second if you doing this legally it's not that expensive to have a LSID. 100 for a application and 328 for a 2 year membership. A update for a im608 is 899 a year
@philh9238 it's not very expensive to be honest. It's like any business expense that any business carries. If it's make it easier and put the government away from putting more there finger in our industry why not
@juansautodiagnostic6199 hey can you help me on getting insurance I already have an llc established since 2021 but I can't get insurance coverage for the reason that I'm part-time and don't have a shop. Who do you use for insurance? I'm in NEW York. Thanks.
Hey man i have a 2010 chevy malibu and my coolant sensor keeps going out I already replaced it twice and still having the same problem the ac stop working and now its hard to start 😢 tired of this car
My Wife's Mini had the same issue. I had to purchase a new box and replace it due to rain water leaking into the car either from sitting in the rain or driving in the rain. This should be a recall on Mini's part.... These cars are shit.
You said it was wiring then you said it was Terminals then you said it was the battery. Alot of people are having the same issues. You say you fixed it but it has no video to show the fix and to show it was fixed now the reason I'm saying this is I'm having the same issue and I've done the same things you have and still can't get the fix
