I love that you’re starting with this idea. I forgot how tough the Miami cap space was in this game! Miami and the Giants were ROUGH. I wanted to ask, what advice would you give to someone like me who has always been bad at drafting in this game? You have always been fantastic at drafting and sticking to your guns and I have always taken the easy way out by trading and cheesing free agency
I appreciate the kind words!! For the draft, it's a combo of the rookie report and what our scouts are recommending. Usually the highest on those lists are the best available players in the second round and beyond. There's also something to be said for key stats by position, for example I never draft a WR with less than a 4/5 for hands. For the first round I stick with just the CPU glitch takes, so I check out Mel's big board to see where I'm at, every team listed on his board WILL take the player listed. So from there I scout the position I need and choose accordingly... this is how we got DE Navarro for the Lions. Hope that helps! Gonna do the next Lions offseason soon, very excited for that draft.
30 seconds away from the superbowl, thats a tough l to take. Realistically, massively overachieved this season. If you can keep foster fit next year, maybe get fowler some protection and weapons you could do, youve got a good defence! Also, trade najeh, draft a new backup rb. Surely hed get hounded out of detroit after that fumble hahaha. Love the series bruh
Thanks for the sliders. I'm using Dyn Chises sliders but I'm playing as the Niners, who quite frankly stink but I got them to the division round. I think I'll try yours next season.

@@Peanuts247 are you using an emulator? Because what I do is that I can extract the save with a specific tool and put it into a program that’s specifically meant to edit 2k5 game saves and you can manually change a team’s depth chart, export the save, and then use the save extract tool to import it into a second memory card slot or you can use the same slot as the original save if you specifically save the file, extract it(.max format), and then delete the file from the memory card (I haven’t figured out how to change the name of the file so that’s why I do that). It’s more complicated than the solution the other person is explaining but for me, my version is more convenient because in my fantasy draft series (on @corehplays cough) there was an issue I ran into where teams had their first round pick as their punt returner. Seeing Warren Sapp and Eli Manning return punts is…. An out of body experience. That said, it’s bothersome and I couldn’t just let that happen every game lol

Why don’t you ever use the turbo boost for sprints? There’s about 7 plays, mostly toss runs, where if you used it you could have gotten the space for a decent gain
I love comments that start with "why don't you ever" like I do it on purpose lol. I do full sprint boost some times, it doesn't always work because my sliders are so high. Other times I'm trying to get a block in front of me. Other times I'm panicking!
@@Peanuts247 oh I didn’t mean that in any way. It’s a genuine question just cause I have a different play style. And while I would have handled those plays differently, I like to understand the thought process behind decisions that I wouldn’t make. All respect to you, I subbed after making the comment. @@Peanuts247 honestly with Deshaun Foster, you probably will have less issues with that on toss runs hahaha. But I have noticed that the perfectly timed boost helps in the open field when you’re being pursued
