Hi! Is it the finest club room? Club rooms I believe are guaranteed to have an ocean view. The others should have at least some sort of ocean view :-)))
It was about 8 feet from our location, if you were further down toward the mountain it got a little deeper, if you were closer to shore it got a bit more shallow.
Our friend got married here early April a while back and it was amazing so I think a March wedding would be just as amazing! Weather is warm but not scorching, likely to avoid hurricanes as well. 👍🏼 congrats! 🍾🎉
Hi! The inside sofa bed was comfortable enough for my son not for my husband and I if we were to sleep on it. Our bed was extremely comfortable though along with the outside sofas :-)
i have always wanted to stay un this type of romm but we like to have cocktails in the swimup room, and being in the top floor it would be hard to order drinks ¬¬¬¬¬
Yes agreed! It’s pretty much beer or bust up there 😂 we will be in the swim up room next time! We’ve always done the rooftop so cocktails in the swim up here we come! Glad you have enjoyed!
That looks amazing. I’m looking to book one but having a question which bulding is best? The one that faces the ocean the most or closest to the public pool & all facilities. Thank you. Love your video❤️
Thank you so much! It is all about personal preference! The building near the pool is cool for people watching and being closer to all the amenities but is less private obviously. The further building is closer to the kids club area and is more private :-) hope this helps! They are all awesome!
We are going to try the swim up next time when we go with a lot of family members! I’m excited to try! Just not completely private like the plunge pool rooms.
Was any part of the hike where it is steep or close to the ledge? Are there any restaurants or cafes along the way? How long did it take u guys? We’ll be doing the hike from Oia-Imerovigli. Thanks!
There were a couple spots where it was a little steep but honestly I did it in flip flops and was fine (I recommend better shoes that haha) no restaurants or cafes that were open as early as we walked around sunrise so definitely pack a few waters. It took us 2.5 hours and we took a ton of photos/videos but we walk relatively fast. Are you going with young children? It would be hard on young ones, but my husband and I were just fine! 💗
Gorgeous place and great job capturing your trip. This is the first video I have seen from Bora Bora that stayed at this resort. Generally I see people vlog about the Four Season in Bora Bora. Was there a particular reason you chose this resort over four season. You mentioned you didn't like crowd was there any other reason you picked this resort.
Hi Trudy-Ann! Thank you so much for the compliment. We chose this resort more so over the St.Regis than the Four Seasons. With the plunge pool at the Four Seasons it was about $10K US more than the Intercontinental. We ruled that one out faster because of that. After lengthy research between St. Regis and Intercontinental Thalasso we chose the Thalasso because of reviews, the response of staff on the reviews as well and water depth of the bungalow class we were at :-)
