I had Cherished Capentry make this table for me. It is absolutely beautiful! I was so pleased I then had them make me two nightstands. Absolutely perfect.
Hello yes I’m in Abq! We can definitely build a dining table for you. Feel free to send us a direct message through here or instagram @cherished.carpentry
@@cherishedcarpentry I don't have an instagram, I tried messaging you on here but its not showing the messaging option on your channel. Do you have an email I can contact you at?
I actually bought it on amazon a while back! Here is the link a.co/d/jdc3BX9 SUIZAN Japanese Dozuki Dovetail Hand Saw 6 Inch Pull Saw Tenon Saw for woodworking
I think it is a fantastic design. I love seeing woodworking where there is a risk. One question I have is how stable is the top. When you were assembling it to the base I was thinking that with humidity changes it might come apart, but then you wedged it, and I doubt that is going anywhere. But is the front to back stability good? if it wobbles a little I bet a short cross brace (perhaps through the tenon mortised to the top) would work well. All-in-all a solid piece.
Great videos! Really enjoyed - loved this latest table. I don't know that you need narration, but more piano! It is terrific accompaniment to the video, but know that is you doing the playing as well as the building makes it really unique and somehow makes both parts more enjoyable.
Beautiful. I've enjoyed all your videos. The close-ups are wonderful. It would be nice to see full frame shot of the whole table. I like the warmth of the ash wood.
Hello! Thanks for the feedback, I know my furniture might not be perfect but I love building and creating! I will make sure to keep improving my workmanship.
I look forward to seeing the workmanship on your furniture. Factually I don't agree. The workmanship is quite good. But more to the point, this isn't a competition. We don't need to submit to the furniture police. Believe it or not, negative comments from random dudes on the internet are not really the point. So my suggestion is put yourself out there. Make a video of you building something. Walk a mile in someone else's shoes. You might learn something.
Excellent work! Good Lord, how many camera set-ups did you use for this?! Beautiful table and phenomenal production values as well. I'm now subscribed.
Just came up on my homepage as I like unique quality builds. Nice job on the video and in showing the steps. Will be following to see where this goes. I kept thinking he/she ( you don't have "Old Guy " hands. LOL!, must have been trained in carpentry due to the tools in the build. "Speed square" vs. More involved tools.
Hello! Being forced to use CAD in school, I chose to have some fun and just do a full size prototype. It would definitely be more practical to render a virtual model though!
I'm sitting here watching a guy without all the expensive tools You tube videos seem to be so fond of.Homemade jigs and simple tools ,to me, makes this guy a true craftsman.Good job sir.
What do you mean, he has a band saw, planer, jointer. He also has upgrades to his guide bar, what I've seen as expensive f clamps, miter saw, m and t capabilities, a slide cross cut jig for his plunge router and plunge router, a dust collection system. Those to me are all expensive to get. Granted, as one works, it comes naturally for these two own. But the first three are really out of my range for a while. Focusing on the comment, I think you are thinking of the extensive gadgets and name brands like festool perhaps? I agree. I like when people exercising practical techniques to make products. I feel as though it helps reinforce that we can all be diligent and make things as nice as this is. I'm not trying to dog anyone.
I have no idea where this guy is from nor his age but! He seems bloody amazing,,,,, such standards after 2 videos…….he’s going places and I’m gonna be following on the journey too, very nice and well done 👍🏻
Hello, thank you! white oak is one of my favorite woods to work with, I will probably be making table with it in the upcoming weeks. I do not have any plans available at the moment but will look into making some!
