'' Nounours '' a l'air, si placide. Pour info : Les tendons de ses pattes, ont presque le diamètre de notre petit doigt. Quant à la bosse qui trône sur son dos, elle n'est rien d'autre, que la jonction de ses muscles deltoïdes. Ça donne une certaine idée, du coup de patte ! '' La BÊTE '' !
I'm heading there next month. What is the etiquette for driving through these tunnels. I noticed you were behind another car and there were cars waiting on the other side to go through. How do you know that it is okay to go through? I'd hate to end up in a situation where there was a car coming from the other direction also in the tunnel.
The tunnels are short enough that you can see if someone is coming. We waited until all of the cars coming from the opposite direction had come through and there was a break in the traffic flow. Then the cars on our side went. It’s a bit of organized chaos but works if everyone stays patient. Not too much of a challenge when surrounded by such great sites. Hope you have a wonderful time!!!
Fantastic video… I love your soft relaxed tone…. I am considering Panama for my retirement…. I am thinking about taking one of those tours, Do have any recommendations on which one is the best to take??? Thanks for sharing…
Hi John - thank you for your comment! My mom, sister and I created our own itineraries because both my mom and sister have lived in Boquete for several years. So we can’t recommend tours but we do know that Judy Tovar has a travel agency called Easy Travel Panama. We like Judy and she was educated in both Panama and the States so is fully bilingual. She should be able to help - you can Google “Easy Travel Panama” on the internet. Best wishes on your retirement!!
Thank you for this exquisite piece of amazing info about my beautiful Panamenian Coffee . You did a great job. The best of the best Simple Super.. 👍🇵🇦🌎👌👌🤤🤤😋😋😎
I am new to this channel, and I must say that I enjoy listening to your podcast ❤️. As someone who loves to travel, your videos have a great impact on travelers, helping them discover suitable destinations. It saddens me to hear that PlacesPeoplePurpose will be on hiatus because my family and I love binge-watching your podcasts. However, I hope you will be back soon ❤️🙏
When you mentioned Cordoba at the beginning you had a photo of the Fountain of Lions in the Alhambra in Granada and not the Mezquita found in Cordoba. Oh well. Off to a good start.
Thank you so much for your comments!! We totally agree that Cordoba has a wide breadth of amazing architectural buildings and structures to see. What an incredible heritage. We understand why you would love this city so much. We easily could have spent more time there and would love to return!!!
Dice info of muy región and city ❤. You hace to come back, Córdoba is full of amazing places and thousand of ancient monuments, not only the mosque, hehe. That is why is a 4 times UNESCO heritage city ( 1)the great mosque, 2) allí the historic center full of palaces, arab baths, convents, minarets, medieval walls, etc. 3) the patios festival and 4) Madinat al- zahra ruins. Regards!!!
No. This was the Seven Years War - sometimes described as the first world war because it involved all of the Great Powers and the colonial struggle over the Indian Ocean and Caribbean and other territories. The North American aspect was only a part of a much more important whole.
Thank you for commenting Stuart and of course you are absolutely correct. I intentionally omitted the broader history to focus the story and stay within time limitations. Input like yours will help to shape future content and hopefully ensure it is what our listeners are most interested in so thank you for taking the time to comment!!!
Loved this, thank you. I visited Prague last week, now one of the most beautiful vibrant cities in Europe and the musicians are still playing everywhere you go, but there are still subtle undercurrents of those dark oppressive days. It’s clear today how proud the Czechs are of their country and history.
Yeah if you are a gullible tourist that likes getting ripped off! Love Lisbon but there are many ripoffs especially the overpriced trams and ATM machines that scam you into massive fees.
I thought that the Panama Canal was handed over to Red China with all his wishes for the best of the bargain, by that politically posturing, bungling and idiotic former President Carter! (Par for the course, another Democrat!)
_I am inspired by your passion and dedication to traveling, the stunning beauty and exciting of beautiful Panama city neighborhood scenery are completely explored and so well-produced. Thank you so much for always sharing your insight and wonderful inspiration with us._
The presidential palace, Palacio de las Garzas, is not located at Plaza de la Independencia. The building you pointed to is the Municipal Palace, Palacio Municipal. The presidential palace is a few blocks away and faces the bay.
