Thank you for this video! 💝 🪢 💝 I’m hoping to use my tufting gun for some knot rugs, tufted tapestries ect. There’s barely any info of any tufted knots online, mainly embroidery. So I do really appreciate this video! Sometimes you need to hear someone else to help you process your own creative ideas! 💡 it can be tricky when it’s an uncommon practice, my friends look at me blankly when I mention it ahah.
Do you have a video about how to choose a rug hooking frame ? Do you have to have all sizes for the different size projects? I have used a hoop but it is so hard getting it tight where you have hooked already. Thank you for your help.
I’m new to rug hooking. What kind of foundation backing do you use? Does it depend on what the rug will be used for ie rug to walk on or wall hanging, as to which foundation backing you choose? Thank you
Oh my gosh! How wonderful is this video. I have a piece that has birds and couldn’t figure out how to make the eyes. French knot is perfect. Thank you.
On the extra strength formula, did you dye each separately or a yard and a third of each wool all at once. Also, to use 4 cups of boiling water with dye, where do you find cups that big to mix the solution?
