Yeah right, they don't come apart as easily as that, try one that's been round the block a few times, those nails are a real bastard to get out, this is obviously one that's been put together with bog standard nails just to make it look easy for the video!
It sounds like you've already made your mind up and nothing I can say will change it, but in truth I recorded the disassembly of 3x different EPAL pallets then used the one that worked out best. Also, if you didn't like this pallet disassembly video then you're REALLY gonna hate this next one! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OCJhoRsj5us.html
How long did it really take you to dismantle the pallet off camera and how long did it take you to reassemble it to make yourself look good? Thanks for the laugh there buddy. 😂liar liar pants on fire.

I have a 1949 Japanese Riccar machine! The machine is a direct copy of the 47' Singer. Mine has the 100 v motor add on with a foot pedal. I had the tensioner replaced in Yokosuka, Japan. STILL the fastest and straightest sewing machine I know.
I also have one of those Japanese HA-1 sewing machines, you can see mine in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7eS_5DSk-4U.html I also used to think that the 2 machines were identical, but in fact many of their parts are NOT interchangeable (the most obvious being the location of the "arm" on the bobbin case). I'll make a video showing it and my Singer 15 side-by-side one day, but maybe it's more accurate to describe them as an "evolution" of the Singer 15, rather than a "clone".
Yeah, a lot of people seem to measure every activity by the money it'll earn them. I had fun fixing these fans, then the following summer I gave them away to some deserving people in my neighbourhood. They might be in landfill by now, but at the least they gave another couple of years service first.
I've never seen epal pallets come apart so easily. I've tried this method and every time the heads of the nails pull through the boards or the heads pop off.
I have about a 50% success rate (slightly better when I use the EPAL pallets made with compressed sawdust spacer blocks). Practice helps a bit, but there's still an element of chance in it - I had to record 3 takes to get this video, and even in this one I ended up with some broken firewood pieces.
A tip: if you get an old tire and put the logs you're splitting in the center, it'll hold the chunks upright as you split and remove the need for picking up the individual pieces for further splitting. Pack it tight and the natural combination of slight elasticity and steel cords will keep the pieces together... Came across that a while back and it's made the process of chunking through the firewood stack next to the house much easier. There's a certain satisfaction to spending a day logsplitting - the timber keeps you warm three times, once when you cut it, once when you split it, and a third when you finally get around to burning it!
Thank you Mr Wakely, I'll definitely add that one to my Top Tips List for next time. 👍 I must admit though, I wanted to capture the "split blocks violently flying apart" on my high-speed camera to add a bit of drama and interest to the video. 🙂
I got cork sealer on my Uggs not knowing it would make the fabric harden, is there a type of liquid to remove it from my Uggs or a fabric patch to cover it??🙁🙁
She worked her ass of to be where she is now , money won't buy happiness but it sure helps , and damn well she deserves everything she earned. She also has a supporting fanbase and family , and a loving boyfriend . Shading a successful woman is not a good look .
Great video. I'm curious though, what made you file the locating notches in rather than use your milling machine? Was it just for variety, or is there some other reason? All the best!
Well spotted! Yes, it was mostly to show a variety of techniques, and I also enjoy the "bench work" using hand tools. Thanks for commenting, and you might also enjoy this one: m.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BCH4dFwiA_U.html
