The Illinois Pork Producers Association (IPPA) is an agricultural trade association representing more than 2,900 pork producers throughout Illinois. IPPA is comprised of county pork producer organizations in more than 20 counties throughout Illinois. IPPA is an affiliate of the National Pork Producers Council and the National Pork Board. IPPA provides producers with services that enhance profitability and preference for pork.
I dont know how they clean their barns but I have seen operations where they wash the floors with water and let it run into the pits below, then use bacteria addons like micro-bac

Sadly just another cruel intensive unit, where pigs are tail docked to avoid tail bitting because the rearing environment is not right.. We too have these mindless cruel operations in the UK. The problem is the constant endorsements to the two young people that somehow gives the green light to treat animals in this way. I am a pork producer in the uk. I farm organically because I have respect for the animals. One further point. My drug book on my organic farm is empty. I do not need in feed anti biotics because my pigs are raised naturally. Is your drug book empty?? You are now raising your own family. Anti biotic resistance in pork that is passed on will put your children in jeopardy when they need treatment.
