Awesome explanation I am impatient so no special tool for me. However the explanation got me through using precision screw drivers so I can get these locks for our new house set up with the hey holes correct. (Some locks probably not the Kwikset ones are basically identical they just have a tab on the back side of the spring you can push instead of just pushing the spring forward like the Atlas 1738002)
Glad to hear the video helped out! I would recommend reaching out to Kwikset - they will send you the tool for free so you will have kit for the future. It really does make the process super easy. Thanks for the comment!
Thank you so much. The upside down key hole on my door has been bothering me for years. I ordered the tools and followed your instructions. Very happy. Thank you.
My friend's family always took me here on Friday nites in the 80s since he played baseball and would practice at the batting cage. After that we'd ride go carts. I seem to remember a food shack there and getting pizza and popsicles. Good times!
I’m glad the video helped you out! I’m sure you can do it. I’ve heard from others who surprised themselves when they were able to do it themselves. Nothing beats that feeling!
@@DougForce got the aftermarket paddles and replaced the whole thing in about 30 minutes. It was very hard to pull the panel out and I also used a hammer to knock the old dispenser loose. The replacement works great. Thanks again.
Thank you you are a great man. I was told by my local mechanic. The whole bumper would have to be taken off and it was a $540 job wow thank you so much. The girl at AutoZone was honest and ready to do it herself, but it was a little too much work God bless you.
Believe it or not, the tool is free if you call them. I think the reason they did this was to make the same lock set work with doors that open from the left side or the right side. So it’s a feature that the lock can be used on either side, right side up - but they do a terrible job of explaining this feature to buyers.
@willbaggett7875 It is frustrating-they make these locksets to be modifiable to support doors with left or right hand handle, but they don’t document how and why - which frustrates us!
@cassiebquerica That happens when the valves sit for years. Usually if you can get a valve to turn after soaking it with penetrating spray, your best bet is to cut it off. Hopefully you have enough pipe sticking out to add on a new SharkByte valve.
@GLS.25 It’s most likely whatever is inside the blower area where the filter should be. You can cut a slot into the housing - replacement doors are on Amazon, dig out the material in the and replace with a new filter. Big job but it might be your only option to kill that smell.
Hello, so i have a tv that seems to turn on, but the panel does not turn on, i'm assuming it is not the ps board in my case. Do you have any idea what the issue could be? i'm thinking it's either the screen itself, or the logic board.
@Nojnoj Hi, sounds like your power board is ok so you are on the right track - most likely the screen itself or logic board. See if you can check voltage where it powers the screen - that will help eliminate choices….
It's taking a bit of extra time to be able to get ahold of the tools needed. But I wanted to take the time and thank you for replying so fast to a comment for a video you posted 3 years ago. I truly appreciate it. @@DougForce
This was the fix for my fridge! Seems so silly that a tiny plastic piece would require complete replacement of the whole apparatus but so it goes. And holy smokes, it took all my might to pull that panel off in the beginning!
@b.dobalina Glad to hear you were able to fix it yourself! And yeah - dumb plastic piece should have been stronger. The panel can surly stick, can’t it! lol
@CB -rx9gr Thanks for checking out the video. I have the part 2 device sitting on my desk but haven’t finished the review yet. It’s a much better solution than I came up with on. It’s called Switcheon if you want to Google it. Video soon hopefully!
Doug, I just bought the model you have and need to mount it horizontally to the soffit like yours. I'm concerned that the camera can't be aimed high enough. I need for it to cover 15ft out to 75ft. The soffit is 9ft off the ground. Does that sound doable?
@user- in8jn2os8c I think it is doable - I had to rotate the cameras so I could point them more upward instead of downward - I bet you can do the same.
@DougForce is programming the same if you have (1) working remote? I have a 2019 GMC Denali and when I factory reset by infotainment system the other remote stopped working.
@donaldmagee9937 The procedure with just one working key is slightly different - check out this Facebook video for details: facebook.com/share/v/rUjaLBZiKqDTsYHy/?mibextid=w8EBqM
@robertmarshall7938 Gort is my favorite robot for sure! Even though he is depicted as simple looking he has so much more power than other SciFi robots. I’ve been looking for a movie poster featuring Gort forever! Thanks for the note!
I had to replace the blower fan resistor assembly, so I figured I'd get that filter as well. After 40 minutes poking around and bending into positions my antique bones don't appreciate, I gave up; your video confirmed what I suspected. Now to get a refund from O'Reilly...
A new Star Trek classic tune! Haha! Loved it! And the Enterprise is absolutely respendent. I love my Tomy Enterprise too. I have her displayed with a Klingon Bird of Prey doing a low pass over her primary hull, trying to pick a fight. It is a bit out of canon, chronologically, but it looks totally badass! Thanks for the video! I enjoyed it! LL&P! 😀
@NegdoshaManido it’s truly an excellent ship model - I’m very pleased with for the price. I’d love to see your display - sounds great! Thanks for checking out the video and the kind words! 🖖
Man this video was perfect. My family and I just moved into a new home and there’s been several hiccups, a leaky washing machine faucet was one of them. This video saved me from what I thought was going to need a call to a plumber. Thank you.
Bart7427 I’ve never had that issue but check to see if nose is pinched. If so that can keep it from rotating. Also it can get gunk jammed in it - it should take grease and if it ran dry it might be packed with sawdust. Last resort you can get a new bar for a small price on eBay. Good luck with it!
