I design artworks to be executed in knitting and make illustrations for packaging, books, and practically anything.

Great interview, very interesting! It's great to see how we can integrate AI into our work, in a good way, while keeping everything creative (the human touch). And like Hanna said, AI will continue to evolve. So whether we like it or not, we'd better find a way to use it in a positive way, to our advantage.

I use Illustrator and Photoshop, but you are right that they are not free. What else? I use Procreate on the iPad. Also, you can build patterns in Affinity, but I haven't checked if it is free or not

Also i love your work maybe you could also make a session for the questions collected from followers.thank you again.
Depends on the art. A lot of modern Art feels like the artist is thinking "How lazy can I get and how expensive can I sell before I get seriously called out for it."
It's neat how everyone has their own style - like I always default to leaves and objects found in nature like this but my style makes similar objects look totally different. Thank goodness there are so many artists in the world expressing their unique style - giving so many different options for everyone 💖 one person might love your style and another might not, but in the end you're still providing more artwork for people to choose from 😊 great videos btw! 💕
Hi. I've searched everywhere but haven't found. What are these tiny sketch-books which are ok for acrilic markers? They look so great with your patterns drown on the spreads!
Usually with art block i go to D&D with friends and sit and doodle their characters, or just my friends if they were D&D characters. Im a digital artist and staring at the screen kills my motivation sometimes. So just sitting with a sketchbook and having fun, not putting any real thought into my drawings, it helps for some reason. I then gift the drawing to whoever i was doodling and so now my friends have a small collection of random doodles of mine
My husband and I are thinking of emigrating from the USA to Europe. We are deciding between Barcelona and Nice. I would be very interested in hearing about your immigration experience. So far I have felt too overwhelmed with the changes in lifestyle to create any art. I think I have done two sketches in the past two months. Part of that is that I have only been creating art for the past 2 years so it is not yet an established skill. I wanted to develop my watercolor skills but so far I have only taped off one page in my watercolor sketchbook lol. I am attracted to your videos/style because although I have never made patterns, using acrylic paint pens seems a little less involved than getting out watercolors and also my drawing skills are stronger than my painting skills. And although there is depth and contrast in patterns it seems not to be quite as particular about creating accurate shadows and volumes. I bought your domestika course but I am not able to join a monthly membership at this time. Other than following you on youtube, do you have any other suggestions on how to get started? Hi Sandra, if it's of any help, my journey started with simple sticky notes and zentangles while passing idle time in the office. Compact, simple to start/stop, not much to discard/start over/try again if something goes wrong. All that non-committal vibe loosened up some creative juice. Once bored of the format, the habbit of looking for opportunities to touch pen to paper whenever im bored somehow stuck. And this, the sensation of NEED to externalise while glued to the chair instead of letting thoughts run wild, was my key to unlock the door to Narnia.. Format is just a vesel, hope you find your key. It sucks that the lock is like a fingerprint scanner and noone can tell you which digit got assigned to unlock it. Gotta check them all now, even toes included! With painting specifically, atleast for me, waiting for paint to dry was the biggest obstacle. I could paint in 20-40 minute bursts and then things would lay arounds for weeks 'drying between layers' 😂 Hairdryer was the key to unlock that, but then i ran out of ideas way too quickly and decided to go back to natural drying unless i have something very specific in mind and wanna make sure to finish painting up. Now i even like my unfinished stuff. Its a safe cozy place to return if there are no new ideas Wishing you all the best in your journey. Kindest regards from Europe🌻 P. S. thanks so much, this was so helpful! I've always done it the paper cut way but this seems so much less fiddly :) Would also love a video on any tips for what makes a good pattern, I always really struggle getting the right balance!
