That sounds like a nightmare, especially if you are in a hurry after you get off the ride. What if someone needs to use the restroom or you have a reservation somewhere and have to rush to it?
@@amycremeans6838 I agree! Also what if the penguin line is backed up- that would make the queue for the ride to be longer too because they have to wait for people to get out
I thought everyone who owned an LV letter bag knew it was obviously coated canvas? When people spend a lot of money on an expensive bag, they might as well buy a replica H Q D U P S
@@SunshineandFamilyTime not to Dog other youtubers but everyone I watched said it was smooth… it’s not.. liked the indoor more then the outdoor.. lemme know what you think when you ride it
Parisian drivers are indeed becoming increasingly abusive of pedestrian rights and no longer respecting the law yet the fine for refusing Walker right at road crossings is very heavy but surely not enough enforced by cops.
I reckon that many place ms are closed for renovations in view of the coming Olympics. Coming on 2025 would have allowed you to see more things and above all the Cathedral which will reopen this Dec 2024. I am surprised that you guys are walking so much around as you sure you are from the US? Anyway healthy decision IMHO
Fun fact about the Champs-Elysées. It's the most expensive avenue in Europe. It welcomes every day more than 400.000 visitors but in reality only 82 people get thé chance to live there
If i'm not mistaken that building with all the bitterflies is a squatt that you can actually enter for free and visit. It's occupied by dozens of artists. It's a really cool place. Each one has their own little studio and you get to see their works and even meet them when they're around
We did online and they gave online card. There will still be a phone call before we arrive? Do we still have to go to guest services for anything once we get there? Was hoping to do rooe drop for Hagrids but if we have to go to guest services then that will blow that idea.
Why should they try that when there is so much more interesting they can see. La butte Chaumont , jardins du Luxembourg et son guignol show and above all so many others museums even go to Versailles particularly if there is “les grandes eaux” (water show) as it seems they like classical music as well.
@@franciscouderq1100 ambiance et architecture totalement différente et pour voir différents contrastes, le plus grand contraste en faite mais ce n'est qu'une suggestion.
Just an FYI this is a violation of the ADA! the ADA states that an individual doesnt have to provide proof of disabilities to receive services! Report this to the DOJ www.ada.gov/file-a-complaint/
Hello from South France (my hometown is Paris), 🌴🌞 There weren't many people there, I think it's because it was the first service. Tourists favor the service coming next to see Paris at night and all the illuminated monuments. Thank you very much for this magnificent walk along the water, which brought back memories of my youth. 💖
Hello:-) Glad you enjoyed your visit to le Palais Garnier, that’s a very nice place. Attended a few parties in there (and saw quite a few shows as well, which is still the main activity of the place😂). This opera house is more focused on dance while the other Paris state-opera house (Opera Bastille) is dedicated to lyrical shows. Very modern, very comfortable, very airy. Had a look?
The partition in 2 specialized operas is quite recent (about the 80's ?). The Opera Garnier used to be the temple of all music arts : lyrics opera, dance, concerts. And the best french school of dance was there too ("les petits rats de l'opéra"👯♀️🩰 and the greatest choregraphers and opera stars dancers use to reherse there). The costume "ateliers" make an amazing work. I remember the guided visit was very interesting. It shows you things you can't see when you visit by yourself. Sorry you were so unlucky with the weather.🥺 Paris use to be an enchantment in Spring time. Nothing similar in rainy days.🥺
@@LizzieJaneBennet Well, Opera Bastille’s construction was requested by President François Mitterrand (elected in 1981) and inaugurated in the early 90’s so it would have proven difficult to do it before… If I remember well, Pierre Bergé (lifetime lover of Couture designer Yves Saint-Laurent and YSL Group CEO), who was heading Etablissement public de l’Opera de Paris (state-owned company owning and operating both Garnier and Bastille operahouses), was very keen on creating a specific identity for each house. Actually Opera Bastille was designed to host operas from the get go, with the deepest stage in the world (at the time… I believe Sydney has a deeper one now) and state-of-the-art capabilities to display insane scenery and change it quickly. However you still can watch operas in Garnier and dance shows in Bastille from time to time.
Used to driving straight through every year from Ohio but I realize that I’m the one driving I’m occupy doing something everybody else in the family just sitting there which makes it kind of harder for them, so I split it up drive maybe as far as Georgia and then finish it up the next day, everyone’s much happier…
"J'ai été ce que vous êtes, vous serez ce que je suis" ( I was what you are, you shall be what I am) read some inscriptions in the catacombes. Even if you do not read French, just to remind it is basically a huge burial site, and a relatively minor sight in Paris, and not a theme park in which to satisfy the teenage anglo-saxon taste for "creepiness".
