I believe it is named after the Gila river which is usually dry. Not sure about that, but Gila Bend is a small town popular for getting gas or fast food when traveling through. North to Phoenix, east to Tucson, and west to Yuma.
Are those gray skies a sign of rain and maybe flash floods? I've been watching flash flood videos on RU-vid and they would never be in the back of my mind, if I were out there. They would be upfront and forward the whole time, they look terrifying.
There is no point. My channel is simply random short vids of various stuff, but if I had to make a point, I guess the airfield is typical of WW2 auxiliary airfield design and could be a good emergency landing field. But yeah, no point or political statements here, just random short vids.
