Hi! my name is Javier and I'm a Mechatronic Engineer with experience in automation, PLC programming, Robotics, Entrepreneurship, Technology, Languages, Arts, and Education. I'm also a bilingual teacher (Spanish/English and I also got knowledge of Japanese and German though not proficient enough on those two) and I am the Director of the Mechatronics department at the unique public Bilingual, International and Sustainable Technical University, found in San José Chiapa, México. Hi Javier. I'm trying to jog the robot from RT Toolbox. I'm connected and in online mode, I switch the servo on but as soon as I try to jog it, it moves a bit and then I immediately have an error (Error 6130 - Network Communication Error). Has this ever happened to you? (I'm running from a virtual Machine with Windows 10, RT Toolbox3 and Ethernet connection to the robot). Thanks in advance.

Hi Giovanni, sorry for the late response, unfortunately I have not had that error code. But, there is a document that Mitsubishi shares with all error codes where you can search it and look up for possible solutions. Again, sorry for the late response.

Is there any way to jump to a program? I mean, sometimes I need to copy position parameters from, say a program number 10 to 40, and it's quite time-consuming to go back and forth using the up-down arrows. Thank you in advance.

may i know if self diagnosis error popup wht should we do??its supposed to be related to robot error right?

What I do when an error pops out is to go to the error manual of the robot controller, remember that the teach pendant is only the manual mode of the robot and the error comes from the robot controller. So, depending on the controller you are using, the manual you should relate to. After that it will be easier to research the error promoting at the screen. Hopefully this can help you.

If the robot has not a home position programmed at the program, there is an option at the teach pendant that you can use to send it home, but you must put the robot in manual mode. Once there, press the hand button at the keypad and search for the function home with the servomotor on. (or jog menu, I don't remember exactly in which menu is it). Hopefully this will help you.

Hi! Sorry for the late answer, the teach pendant is always optional if you have a software to program it.The controller is the CPU and the software or the teach pendant is used to control the robot, while the controller processes the information. Hopefully this information can help you. Thanks!

Hey im doing my final year project using iQ-R series CPU with GX Works 3. Im supposed to use the modbus tcp/ip and i would appreciate it if you / anyone could help me out . im very very desperate

Hi! at the video I show how to connect a TCP/IP (ethernet connection), also I recommend you watching this video from Realpars I think it is explained very well. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-txi2p5_OjKU.html Also, at the video I am using an iQ-R series CPU with Gx works 3, but basically what you have to do is to assign all compnents that you will use at the network, I am assuming you are using the Modbus to connect with different external components at the automation network, if that is the case, you must scan for each element at the network and state them in the software, in another video I explain how to do that ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-V-aMNuzyW2E.html.Communication at PLC's is one of the hardest things to do in my opinion, and it changes from device to device and from software to software, hopefully this can help you search for a way to find the answer to your problem, solving it without knowing your equipment will be difficult for me. But if you have more questions I will be pleased to answer them if my knowledge allows it.
